Shell, you are SO RIGHT when you say this. However you know I would take him into our home in a heartbeat if he asked. I have even checked with John and he says the same thing. Fortunately, I don't think he wants to come up here. He wants to try to make it work for himself in Virginia. He likes living there for now. And Brittany is still there. He's not one to give up so easily. He's like a bull when he wants something, he pushes for it until it happens.

I know that Jane talked to him yesterday while he was at a college. So that's good. She said he was fine. Brittany said he was better after he talked to her. My brother said he would call him at night after work. So even if he's not talking to me right now, he is still in touch with his parents. That makes me feel better.

The sad part for Casey is that Tristan has the same skin disease and somehow he got away with it. He's in the Marines. His is less noticeable than Casey's though. Life is real!!

Monica, you have become a night owl. How long has it been since you have been falling asleep in the early morning hours? You have been doing it this whole week. No wonder your butt is kicked by Friday.

Is anyone besides me annoyed at the new blue and white pages that come up when you sign in? I used to get the colorful pages and could find my subscriptions, now I get a stupid light blue and white page and I have to sign into DCL threads to get the colorful pages to get my subscription list. I usually read the threads on my i-phone so when I am on the computer with DIS it takes extra steps. Any suggestions?

Monica--on page one--I think Krisann had to cancel due to her husband's new job. Or did they get that worked out?

I'm still gonna try to make my chowder... maybe today. I'm gonna watch it not snow. and then just stuff around the house I guess...



Jan... I never have to sign in every day. Up at the top where it says to sign in (upper right side...) I sign in at that box and then click the box where it says to stay logged in. Then I always check in from one of my email notifications - or you can just open the disboards main page and then go to your CP from there.

I stay signed in all the time and get email notifications. But I click on "favorites" after I'm finished and save it. The next time I go back, I pull down my favorites list and just click on it. It takes me right back to where I left off.

The earliest I've been to sleep since last Friday (the 10th) was at 2am which was on Monday. I WILL be talking to my dr about this on the 27th...we may need to do a med change.

I am exhausted, but can't shut my mind off. I sort of 1/2 fall asleep, but can't make it all the way.

It may be the meds keeping you awake and then the mind kicks in with everything going on....especially when you have two big cruises coming up soon.

Definitely talk to your doctor on the 27th, in the meantime.....sit and write everything on your mind....make lists or do journal entries....just before you go to bed everynight. Try to put it on paper and leave it there. Then you have a list and you'll deal with it later. It frees up your mind so maybe you can sleep.

Good Luck sweetie, I will be thinking about you. I know me and Michelle stay up late a lot, but we sleep during the daytime too. You have a job instead. You can't afford to not sleep at night.

I just booked my helicopter tour on the Big Island. I had to buy an extra seat because of my weight. I think that's fair. You get weighed in when you arrive just to be certain that the ride is safe. I hope they are discreet. I'm sure they will be. The good thing is that I don't have to pay for it until I show up. They took all my card info, but they don't charge it until you get there. That's very good, having to pay for three seats.

Kathe backed out from doing this excursion so it's a party of 4 with 5 seats. They fly with 6. So one other person will get put with us. That's providing that Monica and Cheri are still going. Either way, I'm going. I'm thrilled to be riding a helicopter. It will be my first time.

I got my pink hair flowers and pink hair clips in the mail yesterday. Now I have to put them together...chiffon and ribbon. I have to go to a craft store and see what they have available. I don't love the flowers. The ones I initially picked out were a lot nicer, but they didn't correspond with me so I worried about doing business with them. At least these are the right color pink and they were very affordable and they are here.

That's a very very good idea Mon, I can test it right there in the store to see how it will work. I bought 100 and need somewhere around 75. So I have plenty to use as guinea pigs. Thanks. Let me go and look up Michaels and see where we have one locally. You can tell I'm not crafty coz I have no clue. hahaha.
