I spent the day today paying all my bills. Then I spent too much money but I had to buy this bag:

I've been buying a lot of stuff lately to get ready for Hawaii....so I have to say, it's for Hawaii, I needed it for the trip. Sure I did. I just love love love it. I'm finished buying now. It's time to start saving so I can afford to go on this trip. hahaha.

John marinates good too!!! AND we'll do pool. Lot's of barbies and pool. I can't wait either.

Shhhhhh....I didn't tell you this but John's job's fiscal year ends in June. The powers that be want to clean house. It's a rumor. So we are crossing our fingers that John hears something around June/July offering him the opportunity to opt out for early retirement. We don't know for sure, but even a rumor at this point is promising. Cross everything that they offer it to him and we can get out of here earlier.

As soon as I get to uncross everything for me.. you got it!!!

I made another adult decision today (ugh - I HATE those!)

I was originally planning on using my time share to go to an island or to trade in for a 3 night cruise on the Dream...both options that would have included extra $. now that I have to deal w/ my lawn/yard & painting the house, I'll trade in my timeshare for a beach place here in FL, that way all I have to spend is the $ for gas & groceries. Not like I need much if I'm on a beach relaxing.

Beaches are nice too... make sure you find one with a pool bar...

Vero is nice - but nothing available there right now. I found a place that I like in Daytona. Would prefer to do Jensen Beach, but figure I have a better chance of someone going with me if there is only a 2 hr drive versus 5.

We had already discussed him going with me to the island/cruise, so the intent is still there.

Well, the QM is cleaning in obscure places today...

My BIL is coming in for an award dinner for one of the plants he oversees and he will be coming up to us on Sunday morning so that we can go out and buy my mom a new mattress (my sister likes to buy household things for xmas gifts..)

We are going to Olivers for breakfast and then going out mattress shopping..

I of course will come home and sleep on my old lumpy mattress... but mom really needed one. She still has the mattress from when my dad lived with us and he left in 1979...

I was able to do Zumba again today. It felt a little better than the first time. I was able to go to the third dance and did all the arms again. Something is better than nothing. I'll take off over the weekend and start up again on Monday. If I do Mon Wed Fri that should be enough but not too much. I'll try it and see how it goes.

MWF is what they have Dennis do at cardiac rehab. It really is better to start slow and then add on as you get more fit.

Angie.. you've got to turn Dennis once in a while to get all that marinade to spread evenly...

& about the toilet... We don't tell THEM about things wrong with the house... they call me very irresponsible and then think that they need to come in and redo everything...

I woke up sick today....head and stomach. It better not be from doing Zumba. John says no. I hope he's right. So I took some drugs for the head and stomach and let's see what happens.

John is picking up the steak today and marinating it, not himself, tonight. BBQ tomorrow!!!! What should we have with it? Maybe some BBQ'd potatoes and onions and some salad. YUMMY!!!! First for the season, that always makes it taste better.

I couldn't wait so I made John buy corned beef last week. So we had our crock pot meal of corned beef and cabbage and potatoes all week long. It was so good. But now I'm ready for some steak on the barby. Yum!

I'm starting to feel a little better. I took Zantac for the stomach since I'm all out of my script for Nexium. Then I took Aleve for my head. I didn't think the Zyrtec would do it. I needed big guns for my sinus. Then I slept for a while. I'm not going to be running any marathons, but at least I can hold my head up.

Looks like I'll be taking my laptop to Staples tomorrow instead of today. Today I'm just going to rest.

Staples can do the tune up that it badly needs. They will check for bugs too and get rid of them. Then John can add the Ram, but he hates working with Vista. Maybe I should just let Staples do it. I'll have to compare price first then I can decide. Thanks Karl for that heads up.

We always get at least 3 corned beefs... and put 2 in the freezer for later in the season when I feel like it (or emma comes to visit.. she just loves it!!!)

That's a really good idea. Why just have it once a year when it's so good. That's like turkey. I love turkey, but I just eat it once a year.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my notice today from SSA. They didn't deny my claim. I will continue to get my benefits without having to go to court. I can't believe it. Since they made me see their doctor when I first opened this claim and then they denied me anyway, I really thought they were going to do the same thing again. I'm so happy I don't have to go to court again. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. The only clocks I use are on my computer and phone and they do it automatically.

Spent today running around - 1st to Epcot, then to DTD.

Got to meet my Disney brother Jeff (Angie & Dennis' son) & was able to pick up the bag that PJ requested. I went to DTD to try to get a substitute pair of ears for Tyler, but they discontinued the design your own ears last June.

I came home drenched & just took a nice long bath to get warmed up.

Now watching "Overboard" while playing Words with friends
