Well.. the QM and i have made macaroni salad.

tomorrow we are hoping to make it to Saratoga for the last weekend of racing... It's a give a way and I've never been there for those - it's a fleece blanket.. so I will get on line with everyone and let the QM go and find a nice place to sit.

Does anyone know if the Magic has been upgraded like the Wonder to have the Cove Cafe? I'm just curious to find out if it will be the old or the new.

Not at the moment Deb but hopefully at next year's major refit. It did feel so small after having been on the Wonder and I think it is a great addition. But the area on the deck above where the new part of Cove Cafe would have been on the Magic was full of sun loungers so still well used and loved by many( I prefer the new Cove Cafe myself though)

Not yet.. they retrofitted the Wonder so it could do colder climates. Maybe next time, but I haven't heard anything like that in the rumor mill... I've heard they may put in the special porthole screens in the inside cabins.

I heard that the MAGIC is not structurally strong enough for a Cove Cafe since she was built in two pieces.
And
I also heard that the staterooms are going to be entirely rebuilt
which
makes me wonder if the total weight will be the same but Cove Cafe may be possible if stateroom elements are lighter.

There's LOTS of rumors going around... we won't know final until the work is done.

Just gotta wait another year.

Thanks Marilyn. I like the Wonder Cove Cafe, but I miss my favorite table at Signals. So I'm glad to have that back for this cruise. That will be my first stop upon embarkation....BBC and lunch on deck. We'll have the hot tub and the pool to ourselves. That's how I like to start every cruise. We generally spend an hour or so at Signals until our room is ready. Then we go unpack if the luggage is there and go to the meet and greet at 3pm then do the safety drill. Then we can relax. We don't always go to the Sail Away party. The first day is always hectic.

I finished packing for my cruise today. I leave Friday morning. Got the carry on bag done too....just have last minute items to put in the carry on before we go.

Perplexing to me though is where I put an entire grocery bag which has a lot of nail polish in many colors in it. I'm having a senior moment as to where I put it when I last had it. I was able to find a loose bottle of my fuschia color and did my finger nails. Now they match my toes. But I have searched twice over and then some around the house and I can't find that bag. Guess I'll find it when I move....hahaha!
