Yes, psychiatrist appt was yesterday. Chuck is never on board. He was sure the doc would reduce meds and when Chuck mentioned it, the doc said "REALLY? After everything I'm reading that happened recently, you actually think I'd REDUCE meds? Are you serious?" :rotfl: The dr. was planning on increasing the meds until we told him that all the craziness has stopped and Tyler's back on track with having good days. He believes it was all due to major change in routine for the 2 weeks of testing at school, then it took an additional week for him to adjust back to his normal routine, and everything went back to being good for him.

So the end result of the appointment is that we keep the meds the same for now but might increase one of them at the next appointment at the end of January, increasing the med for anxiety because we're seeing that increase steadily since the beginning of the school year (well, I and the teachers have seen it increase, not clueless Chuck). The problem is that Tyler is used to struggling and failing, not doing well in school, that's all he knows, but now he's having major success with consistent improvements academically, it's all happening super fast, and he's overwhelmed because he's not used to doing well and doesn't know how to handle it. It's a good problem to have, but it's a big adjustment for him so it causes lots of anxiety. So the plan is to help him work through that without increasing meds for now and re-evaluate at the next appt in January. :thumbsup2

So I'm super thankful that I had to reschedule the appointment twice because otherwise the doc would have reduced meds and all the events that happened recently would have been much more extreme.

:thumbsup2

 all!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Having gone from 4 agents down to 2 has made my day a lot busier. I've even logged OT this week. The agent that is on medical leave is supposed to be back either next week or the Monday after Thanksgiving. New hire should start 1st week of December, but with office set up & training, I'm not counting on her until Jan.

Spent this past weekend trimming bushes & watching movies.

We did a "Twilight" marathon on Sunday...getting us ready for the new movie :) Tickets are purchased for the Fork & Dine at AMC DTD for 11a on Saturday. :cool1: Can't wait!

Hope all those that got the cruise krud on the b2b are feeling better.

I'm really hoping I can get a cabana for the family cruise in April. That would be SWEET!! Plus that would mean Mom & I could stay out longer.

I've decided that the cabo crud this time is actually Jerseyitis...

They sailed during Jersey week...

that should get em... they didn't spend enough time with me to be immune... :rotfl:

So how is everyone??

Michelle-did you pass that stone yet??

Holly-how are things now w/ Tyler?

Deb-you're collection is now complete :goodvibes. Will find out about my friend's agent (lost contact w/ mine) & rentals. How are things now at home?

Angie-how are you & Dennis doing?

Maz-how is England treating you?

Hi Jan!! Hi Donna!! Hi Newells! Hi Albert & Ann! who else is lurking still??

Deciding to ignore my body for a while.

I'll let you know if we are back to talking someday...

Hi All.............

Mon, YES my disney designer doll collection is finally complete. I can't wait to display them all when we get to Florida. It's too cluttered in this house already to put them anywhere noticeable. I need a new space to start over.

It's ok about not remembering your real estate agent. I guess it's been a while. I found a great site....floridamoves.com that is owned by Caldwell Banker and they had LOTS of great home rentals listed. I even got to see the ones that were $4-6,000 a month. NICE! But they had one in Davenport for $1050 that was perfect for us....so at least I know they cover that area. Other than packing, I think we're in a good position to leave. Even though Tom is moving to Pittsburgh, the kid and Kris want to stay. Not sure if that's going to work out, but we hope that it will.

I wonder if the Hawaii excursions are out yet? Anyone have a clue as to when we can expect to see them?

So Casey and Brittany got home from the B2B also. Britt is just posting the pics now. I love seeing them. In fact, in one of her dinner pics, I can see Ian and Cheri sitting at their table for dinner in the background. Pretty cool.

I'm glad that everything went back to being good with Tyler. I can see how change in routine would upset him. It's hard for all of us. AND I'm SO glad that the doctor agrees with you about the meds and no one listens to what Chuck says. Dufus!

 Best wishes as you figure out the plan! :grouphug:

Thanks Jan, it's working out better than we thought it would. The kid and Kris still want to stay here....so we can leave the pets with them. Angel loves them and Ella likes Kris.....so we're all good.

Yes ::yes:: I like the MAGIC best also. DREAM is too big. Neat stuff to see and do but too crowded and noisy. Short cruises are too short. Quiet Cove was NOISY. I will give the FANTASY a chance as her cruises will be longer but my heart  belongs to the MAGIC. We have spent way more nights on her also.

(we may do the DREAM for a DVC member cruise some time but even that I am not sure about)

Jan, I couldn't agree more. The Dream is beautiful and has lots of nice areas, but the Magic will always remain my favorite. It's perfect.

They do Castaway Cay at Thanksgiving, but the ship(s) is always decorated by the 2nd week of November (cruisers want to have their Christmas cards made, you know). Most of the Dream decoarations went up on 'transition day' of our B2B (Thursday). When we re-boarded the garlands were up in the atrium and the tree appeared between then and muster drill! This was also the fastest I've ever seen the gingerbread house go up too!

I'm home safe (but not too sound...have kennel cough!). Fabulous time, with all the family drama thrown in too (tears and laughter). Simone treated us like VIP's, champagne/sparkling cider one night, a fabulous cheese tray appetiser and he go us Palo brunch and dinner for our full party. He is adora-bello. Some of our favorite cast members were on vacation, Benita, Luis, AND Handsome Daniel (:sad1:) who will be heading over to Germany and the Fantasy when his vacation is over.

Bubba, V and Nan....Mihilo is on the Dream now. We were all surprised to run into each other!

Private cabana on Castawy Cay was WONDERFUL, :thumbsup2 and the best 'excursion' money I ever spent. Di and I were able to spend the whole day at the beach with the younger and more active crowd.

Funny story, after lunch we tried to get 22 month old Meric to take a nap, so we put him in the pack-n-play (conveniently provided) and set it in the 'dressing area' so we could pull the curtiain around it. He could see me from one end so I closed my eyes and prentended to sleep, and he could see Peg on a lounger from the other side and she did the same. He kept walking back and forth and talking to himself then finally said, "Sleep? Why?" We agreed it was a good point and back to the beach he went!

OK, one more Meric story...we are on the shuttle going to the port and as we round the corner the little man (who is very mild-mannered) pointed to the Dream and said, "Get me on THAT!" :lmao:

Off to take some Nyquil and sleep in my own bed!
Will catch up tomorrow!

.

Sorry about the cough Jackie, but I'm glad you got to do the cabanas....they are so very much worth it in my opinion too. John said he won't do CC again unless he has a cabana. Talk about being spoiled. haha.
