When Will's bird died.. the cat was in mourning for weeks... they used to talk to each other...

& then the dog died... and the cat thought "FINALLY... I have the house and all the cuddling to myself!!! I got rid of the bird... the dog... it's all MINE!!!"

Then Abby showed up... The dog and the cat don't get along...

So I come home from vacation to find out that my Pocohontas doll is being held hostage in some UPS hub and that Tom is moving to Pittsburgh to live with Tiffany.

Now my plans have to change again. What do I do with Kris now? How long will they be staying here with me supporting them? Just to leave anyway and not take over the house when I move. Now I have get rid of the house and the pets before I can move.

At the moment I have a flipped mortgage.....I owe more than the house is worth. Like so many other people in America today....whose home values have plummeted. I was hoping that in time, with the boys taking it over, that it would turn around. I know it's not going to turn around in one year and that's all I have left.

John is not happy about it either. He's ready to leave everything now and go live in New Jersey for the last year so he doesn't have to commute.

Everything in life happens for a reason. I just have to keep telling myself that.

Thanks Holly, we'll survive although at this point in time I don't know what I'm going to do. We'll figure it out I'm sure. Thanks for the support.....we will certainly need it.

Sooo sorry to hear you are in a bind...

I can understand though...

You are going to need to start to take care of YOURSELVES first... The boys will have their lives and you need to have YOURS... You have done enough for them. And you will have to tell Tom that he's not going to be able to keep coming and going and holding you up with your plans.

Maybe you can rent out the house in the future? Just an idea...

Thanks Monica. We will deal with it and make necessary changes. I feel the worst for the pets not the house. I could lose the house. I don't know if I'll find a good home for my pets. That's what really upsets me.

Marilyn said it right on FB, better now than after we moved. That's the truth. And that you can't rely on the youth of today to stick to a committment. Lesson learned. I'm not putting my life on hold anymore for these kids. They don't even realize how well they have it nor do they care. Well Tom's decision is going to affect more than just me and John and the pets. It's going to affect the kid and Kris too. If they're not all in it together, then it's not going to work out. No one of them can support this house on their own.

All things for a reason. I do believe this and it will work out in the end.

Thanks Shell, I couldn't agree more. It's time to put me and John first and cut our losses with the boys and with the kid. John was so upset when I told him this morning that he said get rid of everything now and move to NJ so he doesn't have to do the commute for the next year. We may end up going that way. If he really wants to, I can't deny him.

I could care less about the house....I'm more concerned with my pets. I have to find them good homes and that's going to be difficult with Angel. She doesn't like many people. But we will work out whatever we have to.

Tom, Kris and the kid are never welcome to come back again. Me and John will move on without them and we will cut that bridge. This will not happen again.

Deb... check with the animal hospital near you to see if there are any pet sanctuaries or farms that take in dogs... My friend found a nice place for her two chow dogs when she had to move because of her job.

That's a great idea Michelle, I'll try it. My biggest problem is that my dog is very antisocial and more of a good guard dog. She was raised with a doggy door and a pen in a big yard. She is very social with her pack but outside of us she is very protective to the point of destruction. She will attack anyone or anything on her turf. I was thinking of contacting her original breeder and see if she could go back there. She may fit in and not attack them. Then I would have to take her to MA but I would do it if I knew it would work.

We just got home from a DREAM cruise with our kids and some days at WDW. Christmas decorations were up when we got there Nov 4 and a little more each day.
