Hi everyone!! Sorry I've been MIA lately....things jumping at work, so I haven't been able to check in....I was lucky that I was able to have a mini-chat w/ Michelle the other day.

Today was the worst so far this week....

I've been training a new person - new to our account & hasn't been on the system we use in years, so having to kind of re-teaching her that. She's a nice person, but not sure if she's retaining the information she needs to (this could be due to my lovely training abilities, as much as her background). She's done leisure travel w/ AAA for years, and she's in for a shock when she gets on the phones (should be tomorrow afternoon). Wish her luck, please

I've also been in charge of doing all the emails that are coming in for that account. This is on top of MY account....calls & emails (not too many). Then today, I also had to deal w/ getting approvals for certain things & cleaning out of different electronic folders. I didn't get out until 615pm tonight (instead of 530p). Not too bad, but still.....luckily tomorrow the approvals/folders job goest back to someone else.

It will only be on for about another hour or so... but this is the Vancouver link again for the port... my sister's ship is in port and it is SOOOO tiny compared to the Wonder!!!! You can barely see it in port... I think she's on the Regent Navigator

Claire is going on a ship that has only 490 passengers... (didn't we have that many disers on the PC cruise?)

She's on the Navigator... very nice... but no Mickey...

I have a hard time calling something that only holds 490 passengers a "ship". To me, that's a boat. I personally feel the Magic and Wonder are small, so you'd never get me on something as small as what she's on!

Monica, things sound super crazy for you right now! I think you need a vacation!!! Good luck on the work at home job, I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!

NICE Shell...good one Will. At this rate he'll be on full schlorship for college. That's the best way to go!

that's what his parents are hoping for... they tried to get it for May, but it's tough to get the sports scholarships and she was recruited by several schools, but they didn't offer enough $ to go.

Depending on where one is, I'd like to do some of these...for example in the Galapagos. I'd love to really learn something about what I'd be seeing.

quickie post - live has been so fully these last few weeks - I was laid off from my job mid May and went head first back into my mama life
lots of school volunteering and extra fun time with the kids

both of them ended the school year with straight As and Miss Molly has been choosen to give the commencement speech at her 8th grade graduation

Tomorrow is her graduation and afterwards we will host a party for her - lots to get ready for that - but so fun

Nothing planned for summer (summer school for the kiddos) but hanging out and enjoying being home with the kids - ok - and cooking dinner once in a while
