3 years ago we were at WDW playing and waiting for our cruise!! In fact we met Angie and Dennis for lunch in Epcot and a few hours of fun!

Looks lovely there.

Actually it also looks lovely outside my window which is a nice surprise. the forecast was originally for rain all week, but it seems to have been downgraded(upgraded) to showers. At the moment it is clear bright blue sky.

At least we now have had some rain which will keep the farmers and gardeners happy for a while. Not that farmers are ever happy.

Nice and sunny here.. I think the QM has some grass seed in her future... and some topsoil to plant it in... or should I say I'M gong to plant it in...

This is the only working webcam I can find for Vancouver. I spent time hunting yesterday so we all could be ready for tomorrow since my Ketchikan search was so unsuccessful. Seems like there should be a better one for Vancouver, but at least this one is not dead.

I can talk about topsoil and grass seed. DD's DF delivered three truckloads of topsoil right into our backyard on Saturday and helped Harry fill in all of the dips. Our yard was so uneven. Harry then seeded it and proceeded to wait for the rain that was forecast. Of course, it never came. All of the mothers in the area can thank him for the lovely weather we had yesterday. The whole forecast changed after he seeded the yard. It sure is nice to see the sun, though. Will have to water this evening. Here I go talking about the weather.

I must say that the Wonder looks out of place to me in Alaska. As far as I am concerned a cruise ship needs to be surrounded by palm trees.

I'm lucky it's only about a 10 sq foot section that has to be done, but I SWEAR that the damned crabgrass will come back this year anyway!!!

Another lovely day again today. We did have some heavy rain yesterday afternoon, but it is clear again now. John is going bowling this morning. Not 10 Pin bowling, but outdoor bowling on a large bowling green. He and his walking buddy walked past the club last Tuesday and were invited in for a free lesson. Well they both enjoyed it and can go back for a cheap game this week. I think John will join but the other John probably not as he is the one with terminal bowel cancer, but he is really enjoying this for now. I'm not sure if you have them over there so i will post a piccie or two.

You may not remember us - we were the imports from Australia on the WB PC Repo cruise in 2008!!

Just found this thread, so thought I would say Hi!!

We are getting very excited, we are coming over to go on the Wonder to Alaska at the end of June - with a week in Vancouver before the cruise, a week in San Fran after the cruise and a week in LA after that....we can't wait for the warm weather in SoCal, as we are almost in winter here and it is COLD.....for us anyway (Sydney is like Florida)...
