Deb, no, I didn't celebrate. I've not been getting home until about 8pm all week. I'm not a birthday celebrator though. For me, getting birthday cards and Happy Birthday wishes makes me happy and I don't want anymore celebrating than that. It just doesn't mean much to me. My mom came to town last Saturday and took me & Tyler to lunch, then my dad and stepmom came the next day and took us out to lunch.
I bought myself a birthday cake on the actual day on my way home from work, hoping to only have a tiny piece. Lost control and had a HUGE piece (about 4 times what a serving should be). That's my first experience losing control since re-starting WW, but I jumped back on track the next day. So I took the rest to work and begged everybody to eat the rest.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way about your birthday. I love birthdays. They are special days....weeks, months, seasons.....to really have a chance to pamper ourselves and do special things for ourselves that normally we wouldn't do. It's a great celebration, knowing that you have another year to look forward to and to realize how far you have come and how much you have grown.
