Just saw a post that the TV's on the DREAM, have an 'on demand' feature, where you can select a movie and watch it when YOU want and can stop and come back to it later. :thumbsup2 I hated that endless loop of movies that always seemed to be on the same movie when you came back hours later.

.

Thanks for that Jackie. That's a great upgrade.

So why am I sitting here online when I know that I should be sorting clothes at least to start my laundry that I'm going to pack. Nah!

I agree with Angie and Am glad to see that Kathy does too. Plus, in all fairness, Dennis voted before seeing the picture and it is not "grey"
as he probably thought. It is streaked and looks nice. Emma would be pleasantly surprised.
.

Em told me under no circumstances am I to let it go white... (and last night Brian looked at the picture and the first thing he said was "You're not letting it go white are you???"

I'll be going to the store this week to get my box for touch up. :sad2::lmao:

You look VERY cute, Michelle. :thumbsup2

thanks and me too Angie!! :rotfl:

But I don't want to win .... :sad1::sad2:

Nope... he wants to be RIGHT!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:rotfl:

Shell, I love the color but I'm not so hot on the length. It's too short for me. But if you love it then it's perfect. I just like more hair.:goodvibes

The color is nice, you should keep it.

The color can't stay... it's the in between coloring and it's just the grey showing through....

& the short is the answer to hot flashes... :lmao:

Cause there's FOOTBALL ON!!!!:banana::banana: Are the Albany Firebirds playing?

OK....why don't you try coloring it a blonde color. That should cover the gray. You really look good as a blonde....not white.

NOW I understand....in that case......go for it!!!

Yea, that and I just cut up some potatoes and onions in a pan with olive oil and put them under the broiler to cook. John is making pork roast in the crock pot. I'll make a veggie and then we've got dinner. John tends to only like to make meat in the crock pot. I get to make the rest of the meal.

pulled pork in the crockpot the other night (Angie's recipe...)

Meatloaf last night...

leftovers tonight... :goodvibes :goodvibes

HEY DEB!

Guess where I just got back from.....

Yes, the UPS store. I'ts coming ground and could be there Friday (but they said Mon 1/24 for sure).

Uhhh ohhhh

That's usually what I say when the Plankman is in transit... :lmao::lmao::lmao:

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Jacks....I'm leaving for Dream cruise on Saturday morning. If it's not here before I leave, I'll tell the kid to look for it. All deliveries are left at the bottom of the driveway on the side behind the fence. So I have to let John and the kid know to be on the lookout for it. I wasn't planning on taking it with me on this trip, but maybe I should reconsider taking my Tink jacket. It could get cold. I remember it was frigid in FL last January and very cool in the Bahamas too.

I just burnt the potatoes and onions beyond repair. They have to be thrown out now. I don't have anymore potatoes or oil so I can't remake it. John said to see if we have any rice. This is why I don't cook.

Yep, I'm taking my Mickey fleece hoodie with me next week. Who knows what the Pacific Ocean will be like on any given day.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Sorry for the laughter, but that's funny. I once burnt up some eggs AND the pan when hard boiling eggs while :surfweb:. Now I never come to the compute without bringing a timer with me!

Yea, I should definitely take the jacket. It could be cold on both coasts. Well I guess it is January after all.

That's how I always cook....I prep and leave....then I think I'm done. I never go back and check during the cooking part.

I leave mom in the kitchen... :cutie:

That's why John cooks and I don't. But he's doing taxes while the meat cooks in the crock pot. So I got to do the rest of the meal. Now I have to go and figure out what else to cook. Ugh!

A pic for katypop from Cheri's cruise photos.

Taken yesterday in Costa Rica, note the Wonder in the lower right corner.

Our Panama Canal crossing Thieves are in Costa Rica today! Can't wait to hear all about it.

One week from today a small collection of Thieves will be on the Wonder for a weekend of drinking and mahem! (And that's just Peggy and Nan!) I'm very much looking forward to checking out Cove Cafe/Outlook Cafe and scope out the perfect spot for me to park myself on the repo/Alaska adventure. Just want my cruise mates to know where to find me when they get back from their excursions! :thumbsup2

.

sounds wonderful :goodvibes

is there any extra cost for the on demand movies?

Thanks Kathe. That is weird. I know the vaca will be awesome no matter what the weather.

We're meeting Sandi and Joe and Kris at Fishlips on Tuesday night before boarding. We're meeting another DISer couple onboard that is celebrating their DH's 60th birthday and so is John and they live in PA too. And we're also meeting a couple that is friend's with Deborah. We're sitting with Kaylee and family and Lisa H. and family. Kaz and friends are sitting at a table next to ours. Monica will be somewhere in the room hopefully. Monica, if I see you.....is it ok if I stop at your table to say hi from time to time? I don't want to upset Mickey. Let me know.

And we have the whole new boat to check out. John and I said we'll have 4 sea days because we're not getting off the boat anywhere.

more wonderful trip plans :goodvibes

I'm sure you'll figure out something wonderful to eat. I used our slow cooker to do a roast the other day, but I just stick the potatoes and carrots in with the meat. Love the one dish meal :goodvibes

that's how I do my pot roast...

and also my corned beef and cabbage...

That's how John USED TO do it. Tonight I guess he just didn't feel like cutting anything up so he just stuck the meat in alone. So I did the rest in the broiler.

Thanks for asking, Donna. He is doing well physically. He is learning to pace himself and accept that he is no longer 20, so he does not push himself to work quite as long of days as he used to.

Do keep us posted on how you and Harry are doing as well as the wedding cruise plans and photos!!

Jan

So glad that Tom is doing well and learning to pace himself! Acceptance of the situation is a big step in the right direction.:thumbsup2

Hi Kathe!!!:yay:

Since you don't have facebook... here's my new do...

019.jpg

Michelle, you look so different! I like it. I think once we start to color our hair that there is no going back. I envy the lucky ladies who look good with natural grey or salt and pepper hair. My mom was one of those lucky ones. Unfortunately, I didn't inherit that quality.
