I do feel like "poor" Kathe right now. I started taking down the tree, then decided I would watch Mama Mia at the same time. Figured I'd hear some music and since I've already seen it a couple times I wouldn't need to watch, just listen. Well, one of my favourite parts came on and I tried to move quick from one room to another to see it and stubbed my toe hard on an end table I don't think it's broken, but it is swollen and bruising. But...at least my tree is finally down and decorations put away for another year!

If bossy sister comes out then I think I should just make her feel guilty when she's finished her tirade....then maybe she'll buy ME that drink

Kathe, we must be on the same wavelength because I took our Christmas tree down today too. Boxed everything up and made tons of trips up the ladder to shove it all in the attic. I was shocked at how many times I almost fell backwards off the ladder because it's hard to hang on while carrying heavy boxes. Especially the tree. 90 pounds up the ladder. I'm So happy to have that all done!

Sorry about your toe! OUCH!

Holly and Kathe, you have inspired me to take the Christmas cards off the sofa table and remove my stocking. That was the extend of my 'decorating' this year.

I'm very happy that the lovely and talented Colin Firth won a Golden Globe tonight and I loved his acceptance speach.

HEY....I don't have to go to work tomorrow....I can stay up all night if I want to.
