Just got a phone call from a work friend. We have a strike vote on Monday BUT she just heard that it was on the news that our union and company came to an agreement today and it will be recommended that we accept the offer Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean it will be a good contract....but I certainly didn't want to go on strike. I have too many DCL vacations to pay for right now

It was WONDERFUL!!!! Full Orchestra... Gill Rogers and John Scott Lavender with him... Played some of my FAVORITES!!! including "you make me feel brand new..." and my fave... "Brazil... : (I SO wanted to get up and dance, but the seating was a bit tight and the guy next to me didn't look very convinced of the idea...

He's holding up well... likes to golf and cook in between tour dates... The place was packed and we had really good seats (dress circle...)

That was a good plan. I'll do my half after I'm home from my Thanksgiving adventure and have it hit my Visa in the December billing cycle (to get as much advantage of the 6 months/zero interest as I can).

No, my passport didn't come in time. Tyler's did, but mine didn't. Then we had trouble finding a mutually convenient weekend to reschedule, so we decided to just wait until everybody does Niagra Falls together next year. I told Tyler I'll still take him to Toronto soon though, because he was really looking forward to it.

Oh, sorry you didn't make it! I hope we can all make it to Niagara Falls too!

After five days in Bradenton....I'M HOME!!!!! And it feels good. I couldn't wait to be in John's arms again. Unfortunately, it's short lived. We'll be out of the house by 9:00am tomorrow....on our way to Long Island for Aunt Jesse's funeral. Our car will be packed for Orlando and cruise since we're leaving directly from Long Island tomorrow night. But at least we do it together again. After 20 years of doing everything together....it just wasn't right doing anything without him by my side. I missed him so much.

Tom was a wonderful help. I could not have done this trip without him. I'm so glad I took him with me. He stayed in Florida. Sandi picked him up from the Tampa airport today. I wish him lots of luck getting a job and getting his life on track. He's trying hard, so I hope it works out for him.

I don't want to do anything tonight. The Giants are playing the Bears, I'm socializing online again with all my friends that live in my computer. I'm relaxed. I've been running on adrenaline and raw nerves for the past week or so. It was great to be around family that I loved. We all supported each other. We have one more day to get through. Then they go back to their lives and I go back to Orlando to play.

I have so much to do to get ready for tomorrow. I'll get up early and do it. I'm too relaxed and exhausted now. I'll get a good night sleep first. That should help.

Ok... Marilyn's back & this thread hasn't moved 5 pages yet!!!


Went to the Dr. today. (yes Ken... I went to the Dr... )

Started with a strange feeling on Saturday and by Saturday night had lost most of the feeling on the right side of my face. (that did NOT however keep me from going to see Johnny Mathis... ) They've diagnosed a slight case of Bell's Palsey and they THINK that all the problems I have been having might be because of Lymes Disease. I spent the afternoon at the hospital having blood drawn. Will find out in a few days. I just looked up the Mayo Clinic's website and I really hate it when ALL of my symptoms show up there... (including the fatigue, severe body aches, headaches and tingling in the extremities. )

It was funny... the Dr. asked me if I've been near any woods.... (because of the deer ticks...) All of Up State NY is woods!!!!

So... hopefully I will be back to myself soon... Antibiotics are the way to go I hear...

Lets pray we find the answers...

part of me has had a meltdown tonight realizing I've probably actually been sick for about 2 years now... but on the other hand... I've also given myself permission to BE sick if I have to instead of pretending it's not there...

The numbness has subsided a bit and I'm not drooling like an old lady anymore... so I guess that's good.

Going to go and get some sleep. it's going to rain tomorrow and I have this crazy idea that I want to get some things done.
