Was just chatting on Facebook with my friend Dee, who is on the Magic and sailing home. She said she LOVED every single one of my "Panama" gang and was glad she got to meet them. She especially mentioned Champagne Girls and Geezers!

My eyes are getting heavy and I still have about 40 pages in my book...I wonder if I'll be able to stay awake to finish it?

Deborah, I think the month of October will see a lot of CM 'shifting' as a good many people will be reporting to the Dream at the end of the month. So some may be in their vacation period during this month. I know Simone reports to the Magic now, but just for the month of October (so during dry dock and the following 2 cruises, I guess) then he heads to Germany.

Need to find that site that shows where ships are, because CMs have been giving mixed reports as to where dry dock is! So we need to see if she heads north today (to Norfolk) or east/southeast (to Freeport).

To all our friends getting of the Magic today...Hope you had a wonderful time, you certainly had great weather!

Well, I'm sitting in the Apple Store checking out the newest stuff and dreaming of a real computer

The new ipod is TINY!!! It's like an inch and a 1/2... I was going to get one for the QM for Xmas but I don't know if she could figure it out. I may have to go with the larger touch, but we're getting droids for our new phones and I'm thinking she will try to answer the itouch before she answers her phone (which she doesn't really answer anyway...


I came to see Beauty and the Beast Sing A Long in HD... It was VERY good and having the words at the bottom of the screen made me realize that I pretty much have made up my own lyrics along the way... The HD was VERY GOOD... Ian you are going to LOVE the Blue Ray... and it was so nice to see it on the big screen. The movie it'self was great... I just thought that SOME of the kids they had there were WAY too young and it was sort of like watching one of the Disney shows at WDW and having kids running around. MY mother wouldn't have let me do that... The QM would have killed me if I had cried 1/2 through the movie for candy...

Hi Friends....thank you so much for all the anniversary wishes. We will definitely be celebrating soon.

Yesterday, they pulled the tubes out of my Aunt and she went quickly and peacefully. We were all there to watch her take her last breath. She was very loved and will remain in our hearts.

My cousins are having her funeral in NY on Long Island on Monday. That changes everything. They are flying on Sunday. So I'm thinking about flying home on Sunday and seeing if me and John can do the funeral on Monday and then just taking off from Long Island to go directly to Orlando on Monday night so that we can be there by Wednesday. I have no plane ticket as of yet, I have to change Uncle Teddy's flight home and I have Tom with me to get back to his mom's house before I take off. The flights are not a problem. Getting Sandi to pick up Tom from Tampa may be an issue. I'm going to have to beg and hope that she will do it. I don't want to have to drive all the way to Orlando and fly out of there. Tampa is an hour away from here and that's far enough. Keep everything crossed that this works out. I don't want to miss my Aunt's funeral. I have to give it my best attempt.

We have a strike vote on Monday BUT she just heard that it was on the news that our union and company came to an agreement today and it will be recommended that we accept the offer Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean it will be a good contract....but I certainly didn't want to go on strike. I have too many DCL vacations to pay for right now

That was a good plan. I'll do my half after I'm home from my Thanksgiving adventure and have it hit my Visa in the December billing cycle (to get as much advantage of the 6 months/zero interest as I can).

No, my passport didn't come in time. Tyler's did, but mine didn't. Then we had trouble finding a mutually convenient weekend to reschedule, so we decided to just wait until everybody does Niagra Falls together next year. I told Tyler I'll still take him to Toronto soon though, because he was really looking forward to it.
