How are you feeling this week? A little better I hope

Waiting for the blood tests to come back. Apparently Lyme's tests take longer.... I'm just hoping its positive so I can get going on some treatment.

{{ HUG }}

it would be great to find a cause and cure--I am so sorry you have been sick for so long.

Hi Friends....I took a day off today. Me and John are not doing anything until dinner time. We're meeting Lisa and Darrell at Friday's at 6:00pm.

We drove down Monday after Aunt Jesse's funeral in NY. We stopped overnight in Richmond VA. We arrived in FL one day earlier on Tuesday night. John made great time. Wednesday we met Mandy and Mark and Marilyn and John and Monica and new friends that were on the PC but we didn't know it then....Jennifer and Dennis. The champagne girls wore pink and shared bubbly and some assorted other drinks. Then Mandy and Mark and Monica and me and John went to TREX for dinner. We had a wonderful time.

Yesterday John and I met Sandi and Joe and we did Epcot and the Food and Wine Fest. Then we had dinner in Mexico. We only got half way around World Showcase. So fortunately we're doing it again with Lisa and Darrell and Monica the day that we get off the boat. We'll just circle around in the opposite direction and cover all the places we missed.

Today we cancelled a second day with Sandi and Joe and just hung at the hotel. We repacked our bags and got ready for round two of this journey....our back to back cruises to the Bahamas. We're picking up Casey from the airport tomorrow. Sunday we get onboard. I'm excited to sail DCL again. I'm getting that nervous.....I can't wait feeling again. This time we'll be in 5122 and it will be warm. I don't care where the boat goes, just as long as I'm on it.

I just received a PM from KayR. Most of you don't know her. She is a Tortolian. She did the Champagne Girls with us on that cruise. She just wrote and told me that she's doing the PC cruise and would like to do the champagne girls tasting while onboard and to please send her all the info. Look what Angel and I started. I love it!! ;)

Tell her it's easy... wear pink... drink bubbly... and ALWAYS toast the Charter Members of the CG's!!! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Well... the blood tests came back... negative for Lymes... so I'm back to square one... Kaylee suggested I try accupuncture to see if that relieves my symptoms. I think I'm going to take her advice. :thumbsup2

Have her PM Cheri, as she will be on that cruise!! Sassy Bubbles can strike again!

.

Well you know, Lymes can be difficult to treat and also can be a long term illness, so not really a good thing to have. However, I hope they find out soon what is amiss as it has all gone on long enough.

Marilyn.. I think I need a nice long cruise... :rotfl:

So... how is WDW today?

Well a nice long cruise is very nice, but better to be well first and then you can enjoy it more.

Beautiful here thanks. Not humid, and though hot, not as hot as it might be. About 83 deg today, and on this day last year it was 95 deg!! We were here over that period too. This is much nicer and makes up for Feb/ March!!

Sounds lovely, can you arrange for more of the same for next Friday please :cool1:

Deb, glad you are finally able to relax and enjoy your vacation. Hope you have great cruises :thumbsup2

Michelle, sorry you still don't have an answer but as Marilyn said, Lyme disease can be nasty to try to get rid of

We used to have Loblaws grocery stores in upstate NY when I was growing up. I workedin the local one for the summer of 1968.
Jan

Jan, I didn't know they were ever in the US :confused3 I've worked for the company since 1974 :faint: It used to be a fantastic place to work...not so much anymore :sad2:

Hi Kathe! :yay: (and Marilyn....:flower3:)

We've talked it over and we think that perhaps a lot of it is due to stress... with everything I have been going through with work and all... I just feel when it all goes through that it will ease up alot.

Well, we had a beautiful day here in NY... thanks for the good weather Kathe:thumbsup2

I think next week we are going to go apple picking. I've never done that...

Your welcome! It's supposed to stay nice and sunny and warm here for a few days. I'm hoping it lasts for my Thanksgiving feast on Monday...it would be nice to be able to kick people outside for a little while ;)

I can't believe you have never gone apple picking! We used to go every year...of course I haven't been for a number of years now. You will enjoy! Have fun!

I can't believe you guys are having turkey on Monday... I SO want a turkey sandwich with extra mayo on white bread just about now... :lovestruc

by the way... do you put bacon on your turkey? The QM does... it's one of those little treats that we look forwards to and since I moved away... I don't have to fight my brother for anymore!!! :rotfl:

Actually, I haven't heard of putting bacon on a turkey

I am going to be cooking Ian's Candied Sweet Potatoes recipe. We tried this last Christmas and loved them :thumbsup2
