Well...

3 days in bed and I'm finally getting back on my feet again...

Seems I've started in with the pain right before that wonderful time of the month (sorry bubba...)

my guess is it's perimenopause... but this sucks... I'm almost afraid to find out I have a form of arthritis... but we'll see. I go to the Dr. for a check up soon so I'll talk to her.



We went over to Bowman's Orchard's today. www.bowmanorchards.com Picked up some fresh apples... trying Jonagold's this time. I had Jonamacs last week... nice big, fresh and juicy... It was cute... it looked like they had a preschool in for apple picking. They all walked back to the bus with their little plastic apples filled with cider and their bags with like 4 apples in it.. Quite a day for them. We're thinking of going and picking in the next week or so. It would have been perfect today, but I had sandals on and it's not a good choice for apple picking.

Feeling a bit better... wish I could figure out what causes it.

I did go walking tonight. Couldn't for a few days. Back up to at least 1/2 mile and I keep adding a little bit each night a little further (usually a set of mailboxes along the street...) and I hope to get back up to almost the mile a night I was doing.

Haven't even started! Serenity only went home a couple of hours ago. We had a fun time together

I only have three more days off before my trip. One of them will be me cooking a Thanksgiving dinner (also celebrating two birthdays that day) for 9 people

Here's some news about the Dream.

SHOW times will be assigned with dining times and the four possibilities are as follows:

Main seating, 5pm show
Main seating, 9pm show
Second seating, 5pm show
Second seating, 7pm show

(I assume main is like 6:15 and second is 8:15 for dinner)

The show time will be on your KTTW card and if you want to go to a different one, you will have to wait in a stand by line to see if there is seating available for you. I'm betting it will be the easiest to get into the 9PM show if you had an earlier one scheduled and missed it.

Those of you with Dream reservations, should be able to see your 'assignment' on line now (at least I know cruises through April have them). You will be able to make request for changes.

When I went to look at mine, of course I couldn't see it as I have that reservation through a TA, but did discover a BIG MISTAKE they made when taking over my reservation. You'll be interested to know that Miss Dianne Rossell is now an INFANT and her birthday is 11/7/11. Yes, she will be born on the second day of our voyage. Then I looked at the copy of her paperwork Pam sent me, and her daughter and two granddaughters are going to be born on 11/11/11. I can only assume that Peg's reservation is wrong too! I'll be making a phone call and sending a nice long e-mail to Jacksonville tomorrow!!!!!! And yes, on the DCL site my reservation now shows 1 adult and 1 infant.

I'm going to LONDON!!! WOO HOO!! It was just announced that I am 1 of the winners of the contest at work to win a trip to London in February! So excited!!!


It'll be a "working vacation" (as Jackie calls it)...we will be touring the airports & Delta lounges, plus hotels that we book for our clients. The only thing that is "known" at this point is that we will be flying business class on the 777 planes (http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/inflight_services/business_elite/flat_beds.jsp). We are supposed to be having some free time - so am hoping to meet up w/ some of my UK buddies

I lost the argument about who was driving to the Sr. Citizen concert today... mom went with Joyce... I prayed hard and it has stopped raining. I can start all it wants as soon as she gets home...

Did my walking already. I usually do it at dusk or a little after... run into all the neighbors out walking their dogs... In the daylight different people come out
