You probably have more time than I do after all the posting... I have a friend over on the Bendy thread who has over 37,000... :scared1: (but I think she's also a moderator...)

I think you're more of a lurker... we'll get you up to at least 500 by the time we get the chance to cruise again...

Deb... I thought you never unpacked? ;)

I don't. I just went through three suitcases today from previous trips. Different trips, different things, different sizes. Everything is sorted, but not all of it is coming. I made a list of everything I'm doing each day of vacation. Now I'll see how many shorts, tees, etc. I'm bringing. That's after trying everything on and seeing what fits. Then those clothes will get washed and repacked. There really is a system here. I just had Tom help me today because I'm so tired. At least it's started. Next is trying on and seeing what fits and what does not.

Ok... so If I'm going... that's 3 days...

2 shorts, 3 shirts, one nice outfit, bathing suit, unmentionables, (don't want Bubba to blush when he gets back...) flip flops and enough cash for the DOD...:rotfl: (and my toothbrush...)

Exactly....just three days for you, but it's three weeks for me. I need more dress clothes....Palo dinner and brunch, Ohana, Cinderella's Castle, Wishes and Desserts and dinner every night onboard. That means shoes, bags, jewelry, etc. too. It's going to take me a little longer than it's going to take you.

You sure about that??? :rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing the pic Jackie! :goodvibes

Life hasn't slowed down yet for us, but next week is looking a little calmer.
This was:
Mon - showed the kids the house
Tues - take the kids shopping for ideas for decorating their rooms and I went to a belly dance class
Wed - the girls started Girl Guides.
Tonight was the girls school's "ice cream social". They teachers all serve out ice cream sundaes and then its open house to see the classrooms, and there's a book fair to raise money for the library.
Tomorrow I'm taking the girls over to my parents for the weekend again and I'm headed back to Quesnel for hopefully the last weekend working on the house.
And on Monday I'm celebrating my birthday :) and then taking my stepdad for a tour of the new house.

Deb - have fun getting ready for your trip. It sounds like Tom is doing much better.

Michelle - congrats on 14,000!

Hi Karl! and everybody:goodvibes

I have sad news and a change of plans. I'll be flying to Florida one week earlier with Tom and probably Uncle Teddy. John will stay home and drive down a week later. He can't take more time off from work. He already has three weeks off for vacation. Uncle Teddy's ex wife, my Aunt Jesse, is not in good shape. They have to decide if they're pulling the plug in one week. This is so sudden. I was scheduled to see her in two weeks with my cousin Doug. I'm a day late and a dollar short. One week ago she went into the hospital for a routine surgery and never came out of it. She coded on the table and they brought her back, but she never regained consciousness. They believe there's brain damage. They don't think she is going to recover. My cousins Mike and Doug, her sons, have to decide if it's time to let her go. They have one more week until they have to make that decision. I'm devistated and so are they. I have to be there with them and Aunt Jesse. So I'm going to Bradenton for a week before meeting John in Orlando for vacation.

One never knows what is around the corner. I've always been very close to my Aunt Jesse. She always took me to the beach when I was a young kid. As I got older, I used to stay with her for a week every summer, when Mike and Doug were just babies. She recently relocated to Bradenton, FL from Long Island. She loved her new house with a pool. She said it was the best move she ever made. I was supposed to visit with her in just two weeks. I'm devistated.

On an opposite and good note, Casey chatted with me last night on FB and told me that it's in the bag. He's got it covered for when his mom checks his school work next week. I said Casey it's assignment grades, attendance and homework. He said no problem, he's doing great and will definitely be going on the cruise.

I hope he knows what he's talking about. According to his mom, we'll see next week. I hope his teachers say the same thing that he's saying and they give his mom a good report.

I'll probably get a flight out on Tuesday. Thursday is the one week mark where they will have to decide. I want to be with the boys when that time comes.

The other sad part is that Wednesday is my 20th wedding anniversary and for the first time in 20 years, I'll be separated from my husband. Other than staying late at work, we have never spent a night apart until now....we're going to have to. I hate that.

Deb... so sorry to hear this. You go and do what you need to do and be with the family... we're here for you!!! :grouphug:

I know you will be apart physically but there is NO way you will ever be apart in each other's hearts...

Well... even though funding isn't in yet... I'm busy researching heavy equipment.

Never in my dreams growing up did I imagine my job to be looking up ANYTHING with 7 foot tall tires... :scared1:

I think I should have played more with Tonka trucks growing up... :lmao: :lmao:

Ok People... where ARE you???

Don't make me post more things from Youtube... cause you know... I CAN!!! :rotfl2:

Well Tom is getting comfortable living in my house and it doesn't seem as if he's trying as hard. His sense of entitlement seems to be showing a bit again. I thought I could nip it in the bud when there were small telltale signs. I'm not so sure anymore. To make matters worse, I'm leaving here in just 2 days and I have to pack entirely for vacation and pack for Bradenton, while dealing with Tom issues again. The worst part is that I'm pushing myself to the max and I'm starting to get sick. I took today off and got my hair done and just rested and slept the rest of the day. Tomorrow I have to go full guns and get it all done.

Deb.... I hate to say it... welcome to motherhood???? :confused3

Try to take care of YOU first and foremost... you can't do anything for anyone else unless you take care of yourself... :grouphug: :grouphug:

Yea, well....me and my brother did not grow up that way and John did not grow up that way so there's no way I'm going to have anyone living in my space like that. Go be on your own and take care of yourself. Tom said he's going to look for work in Florida while he's there and if he gets lucky, he'll stay. Good! I hope it works out for him. The door is still open for him to come back here so far. That may change by the time I'm ready to drive home. It's up to him.

I rested up yesterday because I was getting very sick. I feel weakened, but much better today. I have everything packed for the whole month now. I have my last minute TO DO list for me and for John made. I'll take it easy for the rest of the night and finish the list tomorrow. Then I leave at 3:00am Tues with Tom or another words....tomorrow night in the middle of the night. I'm going to try my best to get everything done early enough to have time to rest again tomorrow night so I start off rested. But I have a long list of last minute stuff to do as well as cleaning out my DVR and programming the new fall shows for the next two weeks. Then the following two weeks, I'll have to tell it what to record from online. It only goes two weeks ahead at a time. Then I have so many things that I have not watched yet that I'll have to delete. Ugh. One month of being away is a long time.
