How much snow did you get Michelle? We had about 3-4" on the ground already and then added another 3-4" so we have about a half a foot out there now. John had to go to work today so he didn't have time to clean us out yet. I hope he can get up the hill when he gets home. He has the good tires and 4wheel drive, but we didn't get to plow out yet.....so who knows.

Today is a great day. I'm paid in full and booked for the LA repo and Alaskan....and I'm going on the Dream in 2 weeks. WOOHOO!!!

We're only doing a Palo brunch on the Dream. On the LA repo we're doing the Sonoma wine tasting on April 29th which is our anniversary of our first date and that's what we did on our first date 21 years ago. That will be special. On the next day in San Fran we're going to the Walt Disney museum. Then we're taking a trolly car tour in Victoria. On the Alaskan we're doing Palo brunch and John is doing a hot stone massage. The only excursion that we're doing is the whale watching with the group. I'm glad it's all taken care of before I go on the Dream.

Yes, I know, LOL! we only ended up getting about 4 inches yesterday. Then it stopped. So I now have shoveled twice so far this winter.

Yes, I know, LOL! we only ended up getting about 4 inches yesterday. Then it stopped. So I now have shoveled twice so far this winter.

Use a broom... works good... although I swear that my neighbor used his leaf blower the other day...

Finally I can get back to the boards. been working like crazy to pay off this cruise and have excursion money!
Tom and I had a wonderful anniversary yesterday, we were kinda sad we werent on the PC cruise as planned but looking forward to seeing everyone on the Repo-Alaskan !

Is anyone organiziing a FE for either cruise? Im making something so kinda wanted a figure and hoping someone will have a list,if not ill aimlessly wander around looking for FEs that need filling!

There is a FE being organized on the "official" thread for both cruises. Not sure how much "organization" is actually being done other than gathering together ppl's names and room numbers of who wants to partake. I'm not 100% sure who it is that is organizing it, but I'll go see what I can find out quickly for you.

There is also a lanyard giveaway being organized on that thread too. I think Kpros is the person organizing the lanyards.

There is a TV show called "ManTracker" and if you aren't familiar withthe show, he is an Albertan cowboy who tracks people in the woods. The show is a "reality TV" show where 2 ppl are put in the middle of the woods somewhere and are given a map and a compass and told to beat ManTracker to the objective. Mantracker has his horse, a local guide and his wits to help him catch the 2 "fugitives" before they reach the objective (which is unknown to him).

Last summer the show was filmed near Quesnel. I have found one of the episodes on youtube. The one show is broken up into 6 parts. If you have some time to kill and want to see my "backyard" here is the link to the show:

In this episode 2 actors from Hollywood try and take on ManTracker.

The town of "Barkerville" in this episode is a National Historic site and is about 1 hour drive from our house. We have been there many many many many times

Finally popping back in after wishing you all a happy new year. Was busy with the grandkids and holidays.

A couple people asked about Harry...his last CT scan was stable. Unfortunately he has terrible neuropathy in his feet from the chemo. He is in a lot of pain. As if cancer isn't bad enough he has numerous health problems. He really needs to retire but keeps pushing on. I don't know how he does it.

It has been hard to get excited about anything, but on a brighter note, we are starting to get excited about our 9/11/11 Dream cruise and our DD's on board wedding. The ship looks beautiful! Can't think of a better place for a wedding!

Remembering our PC cruise and all the good times as the Wonder makes her way to the West Coast.
