Thanks for this heads up....it's all set to record. YEAH!! Since that's the next cruise for us....I'm ready to focus on it and get excited now.

John is set on doing the Castaway. He saw it on the Food Network channel and got hooked. I think he likes the chocolate flowing fountain. It also got high ratings. So we'll stick with our plans to go there. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome to do so.

I asked John if he had any interest in doing the QM and he's not into it. Sorry. We'll decline.

Thanks for thinking of us. I'm looking forward to brunch at the Castaway.

It was just a thought... but when I saw the price for holidays... Besides... It was the Coronado in San Diego that they went to... they said it was also pricey but it was really good... someday... we'll see...

Hi Kathe, sorry we missed you at WDW. But I'm glad you got to meet up with some other friends. Me and John did Tulum on a Western. It was one of our favorite excursions ever. Certainly the beach was the most beautiful that I have ever seen. We loved it!!!

Sorry I missed you guys too, but I was glad to hear you had a good trip

Yes, Tulum was great, and it was a lovely beach. I didn't take my bathing suit but couldn't resist wading through the water on the edge. I could have stayed for a few more hours easily!

Hi there:

I'm back from my first (&only) anesthesia (I hope) adventure.

let's talk drugs started my morning with a xanax - then asked for valium upon arrival as instructed by the anesthesiologist who told me "we're gonna have a party and you are will wake up refresed and hungry " I deliclined and told him bring me to the lounger

after dressing in the lovely hosipital gear I layed my hear down and the water works started - upcontrolled panic attack -gracious and kind nurses said we'll get that valium now it was lovely to see 2 pills in my cup (ok so the doc knows how to party the other doc was previously engaged for an additional 2.5 hours so I rolled over and went to sleep. round about 11:30 it was my turn and the pusher (as I like to call him now) was there to say bye bye one little something something in my iv and I can't even tell you that I got to count down anything. what a nice man he was

awoken to a hey that party wasn't for me feeling --- groggy and yuck was all I can call it. Had to be wheeled to the car - can't remember the car ride home or getting into bed - wokr up with a sore hit (and all sorts of ideas as to why

now - Molly is off to Justin Bieber with her girly friend I'm watching my boys *aka* the Giants kick some Texan booty. I'm feeling crampy that can go on for a few days - didn't plan this right with trick or treating might borrow my mom's wheelchair and play invalid that night - wilson can push that thing pretty fast.

ok most post now as to not have this eaten by the poof fairy

So glad today's Friday!!!

It's supposed to be beautiful here in Orlando this weekend...low 80's with low humidity....can't wait to throw those windows open and let the fresh air run through the house.

I was able to get back on the bike last night...5 miles...1st time this week (and since I twisted my knee the other night). Must get back into things as I have my next 5k on the 6th.

spending today sorting through things. lots to recycle and such... trying to get my office in SOME kind of order. Everything seems to get dropped off in here...

I can't believe that I have a tan but yet, I had to turn my heat on today. There is just something wrong with this.

I'm crashing from the steroids, my leg is swelling up again and I'm in a lot of pain so I took a whole vicodin and on top of all that, I have an intestinal virus. Great! So I have been sleeping a lot since I got back. All the bags and suitcases are everywhere and I just can't get to them yet.

The kid is picking me up some chicken rice soup, crackers and coke. My typical regime for feeling like this.

Nan, thanks for keeping us updated. I know what you are going through is so much worse than what I'm complaining about. My thoughts are with you for a quick and easy recovery. Lots of hugs and love.

Monica you're doing so well with the bicycle and walking. Michelle, you're doing good with the walking too. I have to find some way to add that to my daily routine....but not this week.

I can't wait for turkey day to get here. I'm so excited to be going to Chicago and to Ian and Sukie's and to see all of my friends and theirs. We're going to have a fabulous time.

Morning all!

Hope everyone's Halloween went as they wanted (me...no candy purchased to hand out ). Can't believe it's November!

I have an f'd up schedule this week...(make note, Michelle )
Today & Thursday 9a-6p
Tuesday & Wednesday 10a-7p
Friday 930a-630p

I plan on walking outside tonight, have bloodwork to be done tomorrow before work, then going to Epcot for the lead singer of Supertramp on Thursday, and then I have my next 5k this Saturday coming up. Figure I'll be doing the bike most of the week since it's getting dark at 7pm now.

Ended up ordering myself a toy off of QVC last month & it arrived on Friday. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/...ouchScreen-Color-Multimedia-WiFi-eReader-More - looks like it's the big brother to the Nook that Ian has. I played with it some this weekend & can't decide if I want to keep this or send it back. The touch screen technology doesn't seem to like me all that much. The pages don't turn w/ just 1 swipe (usually), but I know that Will's Iphone doesn't like me much either. I can play on the internet on there too, so can take that instead of a laptop places. It has an alarm clock function too, which is great.

Looked into the Kindle (which I like cuz it has buttons to turn the pages) but
I don't think that one can play on the web from there. I'm confused (if you can't already tell ).

Going to have to bundle up to do MY walking today... only 42 here..

about 1/2 through reading Harry Potter 7... will have to find something else big and heavy to carry around after this one... (but the movie DOES come out in 17 days...
