I'm going out for dinner tonight since I fell asleep during dinner last night (NEVER fall asleep with the TV on during election results... VERY strange dreams!!!)

I'll be working 2 blocks away from where I work now.

I'm returning to my original career and will be a product manager back in travel automation which is where I have about 15 years of career experience.

Well I don't know what travel automation is, but absolutely so thrilled for you!!! When do you start? So great to be out of your present company's clutches. I hope your life and health can now settle down and you can get back to enjoying yourself again.

My last day is Friday the 12th. I start my new job on Monday the 29th.

I feel wonderful. All I can say is that I feel as if a shadow has been lifted from my heart.

I suppose an easier way to explain it is online booking of air, hotels, cars, cruises and tours. My background is product management in using electronics means for the distribution of travel related products and services. I did this in the U. S., Europe, SE Asia and Mexico, so its niot completely new to me.

I only have 6 more mornings to show up where I am now.

I feel like a demon has been exorcised.

What book?

Just a book I was reading on the TA, Monica thought it looked interesting and I thought I'd have lots of time to finish reading it and pass it on to her...whatever did I do with all my 6 sea days I didn't finish my book so I took it with me went I went down to wdw last month to finally pass it along! It's called the Thirteenth Tale.

Tomorrow is the final day at the 'old' office. After 31 years in the building, I'm heading 'downtown' (a couple of blocks) and am looking forward to 10 entire floors! I might actually feel like I'm really in the 'city' for a change...even park in a high rise garage. Looking forward to the change in environment.
