I posted this on the Dream inaugural thread:

Does anybody know what date we can book our onboard ressies? We're paid in full, but we'll be on the Wonder in October and I'm thinking that's around the right time to book on the Dream. I wonder if I can get ressies for Palo on the Dream while at Palo on the Wonder? Hmmm......

Our booking date will also depend on our Gold or Platinum status. Before getting onboard the Wonder we're Gold. When we get off the boat we'll be Platinum. So the booking dates are really going to be significant for us.


I thought maybe someone over here might know....Oh Jackie.....Monica.....Gydell.....???!!!

Thanks for this Marilyn, it was very helpful. I found out that I'll be on the third night of my cruise up at midnight booking Palo on the Dream. I should get a discount for having to pay for internet to book it. hahaha.

Speaking of booking onboard while onboard.....how about your ressies in September? Did you want me to book for you? I can easily do it and I'm always up at midnight. Just let me know....the offer still stands. I would be happy to do it.

I'm such a baaaaaaaaaad girl!!!!!!

I went into the jewelry store anyway. I put a bracelet on layaway. It's more pricey than I wanted to spend, but it's so me. It's a tennis bracelet with hearts all the way around and a diamond inside each heart. How could I say no. Layaway works. Pictures to follow when I pick it up.

I think we're going to have a wonderful time. Hopefully, we'll win a race or two also.

Although I don't think I'd enjoy watching a bunch of horses run around in circles, that is a very nice place from which to watch! That way you can be outside if you want, but can go back in if you get hot, the best of both worlds! Enjoy!!!

This really tickled me! A horse race is barely more than once around the circle (sometimes not that) and VERY exciting if you've got money on the line. Now, if you want boring horse stuff...just watch a dressage competition...or worse yet...a western pleasure class! Not something the unititiated enjoy much. (That horse is a pretty...like the color of that girl's outfit...is this over yet?)

It's OK to put together a short and a long gown. The girls do it for Prom all the time. They even do it on the red carpet at hollywood premiers. The important thing for you to consider is what is going to make you the most comfortable.....that's what you do. You'll look spectacular no matter what you choose.

Whatever makes ME comfortable? Shorts and a t shirt... but that's not formal enough...

Ohhh it's more exciting than that... & Saratoga is not like any other race course... it is THE oldest in the country... only open for 40 days a year... the best horses and the best jockeys come for it. It's like the Kentucky Derby of the North... The day we are there it is the Whitney Handicap and that night will be the Whitney Ball (which I never seem to get invited to....) Saratoga is very much like a festival. & we're going to live it up in style and will definatley post pics...

I have been trying to keep a bit of a diary, but nothing particularly seems be a culprit of the pain. I'm supposed to be still on a low fat diet, which basically I am doing, but not completely fat free as you do need some fat. Fat and too much protein can cause the pancreas problems, so I'm also cutting back on the protein a little. Fruit, veg and carbohydrates are fine. No alcohol at all!!! Just a time thing now. Thanks for the good wishes.

Best wishes as you play detective. The thing that threw me was that the symptoms did not occur until several hours after eating the nuts, like it was an intestinal issue, not a stomach issue. So it took a long time to put 2 and 2 together.

sadly her surgeon took the nodes this time because they felt invovled. I don't think it's going to be good news

sadly mom doesn't remember from minute to minute about things like "the drain" being important.

the sister drama is over for now since we don't have to be together

Paul tells me the honeymoon is over and the work load has been dumped on him poor baby I feel no sympathy

Tonight I'm working on Molly's birthday cake tshirt. I embrodered them from 2-6 then stopped. Picking up the habit again - I hope she likes it

I am so glad you has Molly's party to think about and plan for. Is there a photo of that shirt?

Believe it or not... Uncle Frank is doing MUCH better today!!! He said it's because the Rabbi came to pray with them yesterday... (we're Catholic... )

He's up and eating for the first time.
