Happy Friday!
This has been a very long week, and I'm still waiting to hear about jobs. This is the part that drives me batty. Oh well, can't do anything but wait. Going to finally get out kayaking tomorrow. Ken & I went in March on our little vacation and we haven't been since Its been hot here for the last week and a half, so we need to actually get out and enjoy it.

Marilyn - just because your travel mate is going full length gown, you don't have to. Stick to being a firecracker in mid-length red

Deb - you are so travel organized, getting everything booked. Keep working on that leg so you can easily enjoy all the cruises

Michelle - glad to hear Frank has improved a little.

Jackie - glad the fever is gone

Office manager told me she can't (meaning won't) do anything about it until next time payroll is due. She will add it to my next paycheck next Friday. Better late than never, I suppose.

Nope, can't work this weekend, no work left. Bummer.

Did you also hear they they have to travel with armed guards? A friend of mine who is a military contractor with Grumman was in Egypt on assignment with a joint manuever and they could not go off of the resort that they were at without guards... and that included to visit the Pyramids...

Yes, that's included in the info about the trip. It doesn't say they have to, but says they do. That's one of the things I really like about it. Safe.

Believe it or not... Uncle Frank is doing MUCH better today!!! He said it's because the Rabbi came to pray with them yesterday... (we're Catholic... )

He's up and eating for the first time.

Before 911, my brother worked on a cruise ship that toured the Hawaiian Islands. He was there for many years. His voice mail message was.....I'm in Paradise, leave me a message.....

After 911 when the company went out of business, his message said....I'm looking for Paradise......

This looks like Paradise to me!!!

I do think it would be a big waste of money to get another dress that I wouldn't wear again. The red one will probably only be worn 3 or 4 times as it is!!!

It's OK to put together a short and a long gown. The girls do it for Prom all the time. They even do it on the red carpet at hollywood premiers. The important thing for you to consider is what is going to make you the most comfortable.....that's what you do. You'll look spectacular no matter what you choose.
