Everybody, enjoy the beautiful summer weekend. Does anyone have plans for the 4th of July? Me and John were just figuring out where we were going to watch fireworks this year.

The kid left this morning for 3 weeks vacation with his mother. First he's going to Ohio to help her move then they're going to Florida to see Sandi and other family. Tom is currently living in Ohio and has a job. I don't know if he's staying in Ohio or going to Florida with them. I told the kid to keep me posted. I just want to make sure he doesn't show up back in PA when the kid returns.

Hi Friends....happy Saturday!

I'm so excited because I'm booking tonight.....Atlantis excursion, hot stone massage for John, parasailing for Casey and Palo brunch. Gotta stay up until midnight and get it done. Then on Wednesday at midnight I get to book again for the second leg of the cruise....catamaran snorkel excursion, jet skis for John and Casey and Palo dinner with Lisa and Darrell.

When I do the Dream, I'm not booking anything except Palo. I plan on staying onboard to explore. I think I'll skip the new French restaurant too....not sure about that menu.

John and I are going to have to figure out how many vacation days he's going to have available when we get ready to do the LA repo/Alaska....too many cruises and so little time off.

How exciting!!!

They call it a loft, but I don't consider it a loft because to me, a loft is really high, like having the upper bunk of a bunkbed without a lower bunk being there. His was making me nervous. It was fine 3 and 4 years ago, but, being a boy, he doesn't lightly climb the ladder and lay down, he stomps up the ladder as hard and fast as he can and LAUNCHES himself from the top of the ladder across the bed to lie down, making the whole bed shimmy & shake. The older he gets, the heavier he is and it's just making me nervous how unstable it is. One of the rungs already broke off the ladder.

The plan was to get the new bed after final payment of the cruise because that's my priority, but I'm not comfortable with his current bed for that much longer, so in the meantime, he'll just have a bedframe, no headboard or footboard, just a functional bed until we can get the COOL bed! He'll be happy too because he hated how squeaky and creaky his bed was getting. Every time he moves, it creaks loudly. So......it's dismantled, in pieces, waiting for a friend's kids to come with a pick up truck and haul it away for me. They should be here any minute.

It is brilliant, though I haven't quite got into it yet. I always like to be slow and learn in bits. I have a few games on there. It will be nice and light to bring to the US.

We are watching Ghana vs USA. It looks to us like they are running around in an unorganized fashion since we do not know the rules at all. But we do "get" a goal and have figured out which goalie goes to which team even though they don't have matching shirts. Seems like the team could afford a matching outfit for the goalie too.

Those of you who have seen Toy Story 3, did you find it scary? A friend of mine mentioned on FaceBook that her 2 kids were screaming and crying in the theater, then one had nightmares about a monkey that's in the movie and the other threw out all her pink teddy bears. Then one of her friends posted that she found it scary too. What the heck?

Jan, I know he'll love it, he picked it out! 2 of his friends have it, so we went over to their house to check it out. They have the desk part out and use it in another part of the bedroom and use the space under the bed where the desk was as a fort/reading area!
