I shared a link on FB, but didn't want to share any details because it involves an ex-boyfriend who is a FB friend, and I don't want to make his wife mad by clarifying that I'm a former girlfriend, LOL! But one of my favorite past boyfriends is in a movie coming out this month. It's not a big name movie, just a small production, filmed in Michigan. It's a modern day Robin Hood story, and he plays Little John. He's also in a small local band and has an awesome voice. In fact, he wrote a couple of songs for me when we were together and used to sing them to me while playing his guitar. We're too different to ever have lasted, but we email frequently to stay in touch as friends. He told me the movie will be out near my birthday, and I was surprised and touched he even remembers my birthday.

Ken's been avoiding us for a while, and Shannon is busy picking up the slack from Ken and the move... (I'm gonna get slapped for that one...)

So it's up to you to keep Canada going... sorry for all the extra stress with that... but I'm sure they will be back soon!

I'm really not a birthday person. My mom usually calls me sometime in September and says "Oops, I think I missed your birthday" and we try to get together for a late birthday dinner. And half the time, I don't even realize it until somebody says Happy Birthday! That means I'm ALWAYS late renewing my license plate and have to pay the $10 late fee. I'll try to remember this time, since it should be fresh in my mind since we're talking about it!

Hot and muggy! At least we will feel like we actually had a summer this year Last year was much cooler and rainy

We got lots of rain in the spring and some this summer, but for the last few weeks all of the rain has been all around here but keeps missing us. My flowers are not so happy!

My house is quiet at the moment Serenity arrived late afternoon and was good as gold BUT busy, every moment! We spent some time outside watering flowers and blowing bubbles and searching for ladybugs, sticks and 4leaf clover After dinner and bath I put on a dvd of the muppets, an Elton John episode and she actually sat still for half an hour watching After several books she finally went to bed, she's only been asleep about an hour! I'll be tucking myself in shortly!

I'm usually early with everything, this year I renewed my plate really early, right after I got my new car. I filled in the form and handed it in to the clerk...she looked at me and said really??? You only have 20 km on your car
