I'm usually early with everything, this year I renewed my plate really early, right after I got my new car. I filled in the form and handed it in to the clerk...she looked at me and said really??? You only have 20 km on your car

New car is great...I had to put gas in it for the first time on Wed! Yes, I've had it for 6 weeks I was away for one week when I wasn't driving it though!

Had to fire someone today at work

She repsonded to it telling me that it was my fault for complaining about her well...if you weren't so darn gabby on the personal phone calls and your work wasn't filled with errors

but it sucks to have people mad at you

Nan, I was thinking about the QM today too! Only 161 days!

Also my pal Cheri booked (or is about to book) the return flight from Vancouver to Phoenix for next May. She chose the non-stop on US Air and now I'm very tempted to book right now to be sure we are on the same flight. I just really wanted to hold off for a while (as I just charged my Chicago flight for this November)...but now I'm skeered to wait.

Ah well, what's a couple hundered more on the Visa?

Not sure we are booking anything yet Deborah. We would have to book during the TA in September, though lovely Deb has offered to do that for us. We don't have much onboard credit for the PC this time, and we have done Palo lots now, and aren't as bothered. I think I would rather go up to Topsiders for an odd night.

Might book High Tea if possible so we can take tea with Cheri at last. As long as she doesn't break anything this time.

I was hoping we'd have tea and I promise not to break anything (at least bone-wise) on this trip. Teacups, dishes, glasses....that, I can't promise.

What did Cheri break last time?

I fractured the radius in my right arm...I slipped on some water up in front of the Outlook Bar. It was Wed. afternoon of the second week.

Last September we had added Cheri to our High Tea booking, and were waiting outside Palo for her to join us. She came, pushing through the group to tell us she had slipped and fallen the day before(I think) and possible broken her arm and couldn't manage to join us. It did turn out she had actually broken it. Now I think more about it I think it was Brunch, but never mind. We will do tea one day.

I think it WAS brunch...

Really, was that on the second part of the B2B with Tortola? I had no idea that she broke anything. We're going to have to watch her and Vicki very closely. Those two are trouble. haha.

I'm glad everything is fine now and I hope you get that High Tea together this trip.

It must have been the second week if you can't remember it happening. I can't remember which week. She was in quite a bit of pain.

Thank goodness for trip insurance.

It seems like falling is the number one culprit. Ray and John fell down stairs....Vicki and Cheri stumbled and fell. Everyone got hurt badly....Ray even more so. Who would have thought that a simple thing like falling could cause so much damage. We all have to be a lot more careful.

YES!!! I think I'm going to wrap myself in bubble wrap for this trip. It'll protect me and I'll hopefully sweat off a few pounds.

Sadness and loss her in San Jose too

My grandpuppy, Kelsey (Casey's daughter) at age 15 has passed also.

This is Kelsey with her little boy Brian - he was our ring bearer in our wedding. His mom, Laura, a brides maid. Laura and I figured Brian needed a dog and having the perfect pet Casey we roamed the state to find her a stud. We did and Kelsey was the pick of the litter of six.

from the size of the bruise on my "Too-Too" I think plate armor and air bag would be more in line

BTW, I guess I didn't tell anyone that when Ian and I were at Forest Lawn I tripped on a curb and fell on my knee. It was on the grass so I didn't think it would be too bad.... You should see the bruises on my lower right leg. Jeeze...

Excellent idea! Ideally there should be one for each of us, so we don't have to get up to fetch our own cookies, which increases the risk of tripping and falling!
