We canceled our Baltic cruise today. Switched our ressie over to the May 16 4-nt. Plus we booked the Oct 14 3 nt with Deb & John. And we still have our Nov 6 Eastern.

It's hard keeping up with Deb - but this gives us 5 current ressies including the b2b alaska next year.

We still need to squeeze in 2 more so we can be platinum by alaska.

It's hard for me to keep up with Monica and Jackie....who are second only to Woody. That makes you and me third and fourth. Oh, then there's Marilyn and Kaz....I think they have us outbeat too....and Cheri and Lisa/DL5. I guess we all do cruise a lot.

all the kids make a team (unless you are really terrible) (then they just keep you down with the little kids)

He was fine with the whole thing. I had prepared him to expect the top players (he and his closest friends) aren't going to be on the same teams. It's a school yard pick -coaches sit around the table and take turns. It was completely expected that they would not be together - but a bummer


yeah he will, but I'm very attached to the mom's and kids from last year. You know how sometimes you find people ya love (like us thieves?) those peeps can't be replaced


I think the thing that makes me bummed is that Wilson is playing ball to see his friends - he would by far rather be racing. So if his friends aren't around or worse on the opposing team it just sucks. It would be like being a on cruise with out your buddies to share it with KWIM.

I understand completely. I'm sure Wilson will do fine, but he'll miss all his old friends. That's sad.

Yes he is married, to a Brizilian beauty (OK, I just assumed the beauty part). Besides, I'm old enough to be his MOM! It's just about having cute boys around....you know, the reason we all want to hang with Ian and Sukie. Hmmmmm, and John, and John and Paul........

Kaz, can't believe I get to set foot in London again, it's been over 30 years since I was there. Can't wait to see you and Richard on your home turf.

My CC page on the DCL site is loaded with cruises, a couple of which I have no intention of taking. But I should hit platinum by part two of my Nov '11 Dream B2B. Of course I won't have any of those early booking perks, as I'll have only hit platinum the day of the cruise!

You know, I am sooo tempted by this EBTA cruise myself - I have been umming and ahhing about if for ages!!! And the prices (even going solo) are crazy!!!

We're expecting a big snow storm today. It's not supposed to start until tonight, but they just said it started in Roanoke VA already....so it's going to start here a lot earlier than expected. John is going to have a very long drive home in it tonight. Thank goodness he has 4 wheel drive. I hope it's not too much snow by the time he gets to the driveway. Suzie usually makes it up with a couple of inches, but anything more and it would need to be plowed first. I have no idea how much snow we're going to get. They said it's a big storm, but mostly hitting the shoreline states. It's a good thing Kris is coming next Friday and not today.

We have 8 down and 2 to go then we're platinum. I expect to get there after my 2 short b2bs in Oct this year. Then I'll be platinum for all of my special 2011 sailings starting with the Dream maiden voyage. How awesome!

What cracks me up is the fact that Disney tiered their castaway club membership and the thieves are spending all their tax return dollars to book multiple cruises to get to the next level....me included. It makes me laugh. Yes, we're addicted and we just can't help ourselves. But it's the happiest place in the world and where we all want to be.
