Merry Christmas and Happy Federal Holiday to all my friends. The presents are opened.....we all did good. We're picking Ray up in one hour and going out to dinner. I have to remember to take pics of me and John today. I always forget to do us.

My ear infection got worse. Yesterday I started taking vicodin for the ear not the leg. The pain is unbearable. I phoned my doctor and he called in a script for ear drops. So I put the drops in and wear a piece of cotton in the ear. I haven't had to do this since about 40 years ago. I can't believe a have an ear infection as an adult. I used to get them a lot as a child. I have sinusitis as an adult. The infection is actually in the ear, nose and throat. It hurts in a triangle. It's nasty. My doctor wanted to script an antibiotic too, but I told him I was already on my second round of Bactrim....so he didn't need to. I don't understand how I could have gotten the infection if I was already on the antibiotic. I just hope it goes away soon. I can't stay on vicodin for long.

Di and I are in the final stages of grooming and will soon be picked up by Peg & Jose for our Christmas dinner in Scottsdale. Then we plan to see "It's Complicated" in the late afternoon/evening.

Last night was pizza and games...we three girls played "Kings in the Corner", a card game Peg just taught us.

Tomorrow evening Di's BFF Randy arrives for a few days and will stay at Peg's. He lives in San Diego and will drive up and also visit some extended family while he's here. Looking very forward to spending some time with him, he's a great guy.

So that's the update on the Arizona happenings, hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

So... this is Xmas here in Glenville...

I feel very sad being home alone today...I'm sick.. I'm alone... I can't really eat anything I want...

I woke up around 3 am and haven't been able to get back to sleep.

Talked to the QM... they are all doing well... They "toasted" me at dinner last night... Brian texted me the toast... (I think I'll put that kid in my will...)

Hey Bubba, what a great Christmas present!

Sukie and I went to see "Sherlock Holmes" this morning. I thought it was just OK.

I've made our Christmas dinner, vegetarian Toad in the Hole. I must admit that the gravy was rather fabulous.

Now the mince pies are in the oven heating up, and I've made some custard sauce to go with them.

Then I think we're going to collapse and snooze for a while, at least Sukie will. I'll be playing a video game.

This was Tyler's dad's year to have him for Christmas, so Santa came a day early. I was just now watching again the 2 video clips I put on Facebook of Tyler opening his 2 favorite presents (2 of the 3 things he asked Santa for). So funny, he was soooo excited! Makes me happy to see him so excited!
