This is incredibly excellent!

It is isn't it!! I can't believe how physical I am able to be again in moderation....despite my illnesses. It's a wonderful feeling.

Plus the fact that I'm adding about 5 points in activity each day. 2 in the morning and 3 at night. These points only get used if I deplete the weekly points which I never finish up.....I might with my chocolate birthday cake though.:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Morning everyone...

For what it's worth... I'm still awake from yesterday...

This is the longest I've ever gone after pain meds without being able to change things around... & I hate it... Totally out of whack...

I'm going to go and try and crash for a bit... I've told mom to forget dinner for me... I'll grab some soup or whatever when I awaken...

& just who screwed up the Smilies again????

I just sent John to home depot with a note written on a Tinker Bell notepad. Ha Ha Ha....he said wait until I take the note out in the store and show the rep what I need on paper with Tinker Bell. He'll have a good laugh.:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

Today is table linen day at Eastwood Manor.

We are going to survey (in between my conference calls) the state of our table linen.

Depending on the findings of the committee, and the state of my system cutover, we may be making a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond this weekend.

The table linen committee will be issue a report of the official Thanksgiving dossier.

How do you decorate your linens? Is there a centerpiece? Is there a theme? Just curious. I love party themes when decorating.:goodvibes

I typically decorate my table with places settings and food. :lmao:

No, we never do center pieces. Sometimes when we're feeling ambitious there'll be candles.

By the way, the linen committee has issued their results. New table linen is needed. Also the committee has determined that we can seat 14 to 16 guests.

On the down side, I think the main set of Doulton china is only a service for 12, and I think the table wear is also only for 12, maybe 16. I can't remember if I got a service for 12 or 2 service for 8's.

Deb, I'm so happy for you, you're doing such a great job! :dance3:

Thanks Holly....and Kathe and Jackie and Michelle.

Now I have to get new clothes. I've been wearing the old ones loosely, but now they're falling off and I have to get a smaller size.

Ian, Gydell, help me out here.....what did you do as you lost weight? Did you buy all new clothes every size change? Or should I just go to a good tailor? I can't see spending the money for something temporary and I don't know what size I am anymore either. Suggestions? What did you do?:confused3:confused3:confused3:confused3

Don't worry Ian....we'll eat on plastic-ware if we need to....just no PAPER! :lmao:

So, the latest buzz on the DCL/DIS is the 'suspension' of late summer 2011 Med cruises. What do they have up there sleves now? Not selling well and bringing the Magic home early? (though they are still selling the WTBA that summer) Switching to EASTERN Med itineraries? They finally realized their customers are PISSED that there haven't been any summertime 7 day cruises? :confused3

Holly, I'm heading off to a DCL Houseparty too....and I plan on winning that cruise, you hear? :rotfl: And I guess I'd better hit the shower and get ready for my 70 minute drive there. Maybe by the time there's a 3rd DCL houseparty, I can find a hostess in Phoenix (though gouodux is one, but I didn't get an invite from her :sad2:)

You have a great day planned Holly!!! I doubt I will pass you on FishVille!!

Charlotte, Amy and I watched some of your fish die and float to the top of your 2nd tank this morning. We saw them flashing red to be fed immediately so kept going back and caught them dying. The girls were fascinated and wondered where you were!!!! I said it was only 6.30am your time and you would be sleeping till early afternoon!!!!!

Charlotte and Amy....are those the twins? Are the twins very similar or opposite? It must be nice to have the girls for the day without having the boys around too. You can do different things with them alone....girly things. How old are they now? I used to love to play dress up and I was a princess....born into royalty. I loved it.

Good Night Michelle....sweet Mickey dreams.:cloud9:

Deb, check out second hand and consignment shops if you have any around you. Also I picked up play clothes at Target and Wally world. Try Ross and/or TJ Maxx if you need to find slightly nicer things, then take them to a consignment shop when they are too big. I only had my high quality items altered because it was pricy, but if you can find someone at a reasonable price, I'd go that route first.

We'll sit on the floor with pillows and eat off of plastic....but we're coming!!! Nothing formal with us. hahahehe.

Jackie and Holly, I hope you both win inaugural Dream cruises so you can be on the boat with us!!!:hug::hug: Have fun at the party....would love pics.:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Yes, they are the twins. We didn't have long with them without the boys as both parents came home early(from different places!!). We played games with them - Downfall and Pick up Sticks.

They look identical but one is bigger than the other and slightly heavier, but I can never remember which one!! That annoys their mum! They have always been dressed differently, though sometimes have the same things so it is even more difficult then. They are a little different in what they like and you can see different personalities at times, but mostly they just do things together with the same/similar toys, and NEVER stop talking.

Michelle, have some good deep refreshing sleep, and get properly well soon!!

Jackie, you're the best. You always know exactly what to do and what is going on....:woohoo::woohoo:

I love the idea of the Magic doing some different/new itineraries. I want a Southern so badly. The one at Christmas 2010 is perfect except for the price. I want them to do the same one but not at Christmas. Do it in September so it'll be less expensive.

That is so fascinating to me. I always wanted to have an identical twin sister. I thought that would be so cool. It must be fun watching them grow up together. Of course they are different people, but they are so similar. I can imagine how they never stop talking. If I had an identical twin to talk to that understood me so well, I would have never shut up either....they're girls after all.

I LOVED playing pick up sticks when I was younger. I was pretty good at it too....fun game....brings back good memories.

Non, I only said that the Royal Doulton was a service for 12, the "cheap" china is a service for 16. For table wear, there is always the option to also use the stainless steel flatwear that is a service for 8.

So we can only accommodate up to 12 with the really good stuff.

Oddly enough, we never invested in crystal. There is no service for 12 Waterford to go along with the China.

Ian, I believe sister Dianne could supplement any of your china needs!

She used to go 'play' with the head of that department in Marshall Fields and they would rearrange china, crystal and flatware by the hour! :lmao:

My mom used to have both and her table always looked so pretty. I have no idea where any of that stuff is now. My brother probably has it. I don't really like crystal much and I know he does. But mom's table always looked nice. I'm sure yours will too.

Wow nice....good offer Ian....I would take it!!

Busy day for me today! Headed to Walmart to pick up a refill on one of my meds, and hopefully to pick up prints I plan to upload from the PC repo cruise so I can finish the scrapbook Linda organized onboard, then off to a DCL House Party where we've been told to bring any photos or memorabilia we'd like to share (thus the need to finish the scrapbook), Konk Coolers will be available, so I plan on trying one (since I've never had one onboard), and I also plan on winning the 4-day cruise on the Dream (I told my co-worker Jan she has to go with me), then I have to head to the laundromat, then come home and relax and catch up on FarmVille & FishVille. Wonderful weekend day! :goodvibes

Good luck on winning the cruise, Holly! Wouldn't that be exciting?!
