Ian, you're going to need to rent a hall with a full kitchen to cook us all Thanksgiving dinner!

We're a bit further than that. According to Google Maps this is 13.3 miles away from us 22 minutes without traffic, 35 with traffic.

I had a snarky reply but it got lost...stupid internet...
I'm there in pencil for now (job thing must be settled before travel plans in pen)
Be there or be talked about. Nevermind we're talking about you even if you are there![]()

Would you be more NE or NW of the airport? I'm booking danno. As soon as the window opens. We will definitely be there.
What's the name of your section of town? All I know is Western on the Brown line. I'll be driving and looking for a hotel. Please advise.
Hey V
I'm in the middle of composing an e-mail to the girls with your Big Thunder Ranch dining suggestion! Think we should follow up a late lunch with a visit with Billy Hill & the Hillbillies for their 5 o'clock show! I think I get fee birthday cake there.

Our neighborhood is called Lincoln Square, but unfortunately no hotels or motels near us, not ones you would like to stay in at any rate. Not unless you and your John want to pay by the hour.

I've never been to Chi-town so would also do a bit of sightseeing. Looks like this isn't far from Wrigley's.
How about B&B's? Are there any nearby?
Now that Cheri is going to Eastwood Manor next year I'm expecting a lot of pictures!![]()
JACKIE It is kinda exspensive, but its family style all you can eat. So if you can polish off some ribs, its worth it. Have you been there yet? Its all good, chicken, ribs , slaw , beans and cornbread. Drinks and dessert are extra. See ya real soon!!!
Deb - I'll also be checking for TA rates but won't be making any decisions at this time anyways....will need to see how much time I can take off to go around the town too. I'm just looking around right now.
I don't plan on driving.....as long as I can do the El/subway/what ever it's calledI'm good.
