I'm off to MD this Saturday...back on Monday. Seeing Mom, Dad, Lisa & her family. Can't wait to see the neice & nephew :lovestruc:love: We'll be celebrating Mom/Dad's anniversary (44 I think) and my bday.

Tuesday I'll work 1015a-215p then off to WDW (not sure which park) to get my bday gift card....or can I go to Guest Relations at DTD??? Will have dinner w/ a friend from college that night.

I just was invited to go to Savannah (& stay at Disney's Hilton Head Resort) by Will & Mickey for the weekend--we'll drive up Saturday & come back Sunday.

We know that Jackie will be at DL for HER bday :yay:

Monica, have a wonderful birthday week! Sounds like you have some great plans, family ,friends and disney :thumbsup2

Prince Charming?

MY Prince Charming, of course! (or the man of my dreams :lmao:)

You want a used Prince???

Meeting up w/ Ann & Albert on Thursday next week :)

Give them  for me!!!

4 more miles on the bike for me last night...then did some arm exercises w/ 3 lb weights while watching The Biggest Loser (cried!).

WW people.....for fajitas....other than not doing the guac (which I don't anyways) and the sour cream...how can you make that better/healthier?

Deb - how's the bike going for you?

The bike has been put on hold until the thumb gets better. I took the weekend off and wanted to get right back on it Monday. Then I got the shot in my thumb joint and couldn't deal with the pain so I didn't get back on the bike yet. I'll try it later today or tomorrow since the thumb is getting better but still not normal yet.

You're doing great at 4 miles and with weights too.

Last week I tried one bottle of water in each hand and started doing some arm exercises. But it hurt too much so I had to stop.

I have to learn how to work within the pain. It's not so easy. I can't not do it yet I can't overdo it also. I'll figure it out with trial and error.

Deb... take some tylenol or Advil about 1/2 an hour before you excercise... might take some of the pain away... also... if anything hurts after... ice it... my PT and OT always told me - work to the point of pain... not past it... cause if you go past... you are doing damage... :thumbsup2 It will get better and better each time... build up to it and it will work...

Next week is going to be a very special week....since we have the two birthday girls. Any parties planned?

Mine is in three more weeks, but I'm already wearing my new pink diamond earrings. They're beautiful. I still have the ring coming and John asked, "Are we finished now." Of course not, I still need a necklace. hahaha.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: A girl has got to be coordinated.:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

John's taking notes... :rotfl:

Deb - definately don't push yourself...you don't want to hurt yourself anymore & if you're in pain you are not going to keep wanting to exercise. Take a walk around the yard instead :)

(she always has good ideas...) :goodvibes

Here's the earrings that I'm wearing...just basic studs .85 total carats. I have them in my top hole on the bottom.

Here's the ring that's on it's way....a one carat 5 stone ring.

I just need to get one more item....a solataire pendant like this one.

3901070593646464_1.jpg

ohhhh, very pretty!

The legs were ok, the arms and the thumb finger are painful. So I stopped to recoup. I'll start up again but I'll only do the legs...the bike has the moving arms and peddles. And I won't use the water bottles as weights with the arm exercises. Little by little.

Deb... start with smaller weights for the arms... bags of beans are good... start with 8 oz... and work up... it's how I got my arm and hand back after surgery...

OMG I'm cracking up....who loves you baby!!!!;)

Just think of all the truck parts that you have coming!!

I'm thinking of all those car parts with all the Bling on it... :lovestruc:lovestruc

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: You'll have a great time!!!

Does anyone do MSN Messenger?? If you do...we can always chat while I'm at work (unless crazy....Michelle can attest to that)....mcoleman7@live.com :)

Tired of me already??? (sorry to be MIA this week...)

Jackie gets to do DL for her birthday. YEAH!!!

I'm not going to be near anything Disney for my birthday, but I'll be cruising DCL on John's birthday, which is less than 2 months after mine. That will do quite nicely.

Deb... dress in pink and have Bubbly... put on some disney music and dream... ok??? :cutie:

I'm so glad it's not crazy (so far) today...I have SO missed being able to jump in here & chat w/ my dear friends :)

me too...

This Sat on halloween, I'm going to see MJ's THIS IS IT movie. I'm very excited.

Then on Sun me and John would like to go into NYC to see Disney's A Christmas Carol Train Tour:

http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/christmascaroltraintour/#/schedule/

Scrooge is John's favorite. It's not Christmas until he see's the version with Alistair Simms. That's his favorite....but he watches them all...every version. He can recite every line.:laughing:

Get there EARLY I hear... there were lines in several places...

I'm an 18 baby....4am to be exact and yes I did wake my mother up on more than one year at 4am and told her to wish me a happy birthday because I was born. I was a crazy kid. Well, I did that as an adult too....but, yea, 4am on the 18th....still a Scorpio. Tristan is the 26th but he's a Sagittarius. His bday is on Turkey day this year. I don't think he'll be home though. Tristan is my nephew the marine and he's in Pensacola, FL at Air Traffic Control school.

I was born at 1:20 in the afternoon... after 4 kids... mom finally got it right...

You have seen the ornaments....Mickey, Minnie and Tink. Here's the skirt for under the tree:

300138.jpg

Now which top goes best? :confused3 I love them all. :lovestruc

400154300108.jpg

I have a Tink one, but it doesn't make it on my tree... I use a bow for the top... (I have a very old fashioned tree...) I always wondered if I'd have a second tree...but no room yet... :confused3)

So far Tink's in the lead.

I wonder why???
Do you dislike Minnie for some reason? hahaha.

I'm thinking Mickey to match the skirt.:confused3

Yes.....OR Tink....a fairy is really more of a topper to me.

OMG THEY NAMED THE CHAMPAGNE LOUNGE PINK!!!

.
Copy Cat.... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I haven't had a chance to see my daughter for a week or so, and turns out that was a good thing! She hasn't felt well, then got the flu. She went to the dr's today and he thinks she has the H1N1 virus  I'm not sure how long before the results of tests come back, but in the meantime she's on bedrest until at least Monday :sad2: Thankfully, she seems to be over the worst of it, but she still feels pretty sick.

The virus is really spreading here. It's scary. Two perfectly healthy children have died in Ontario from this virus over the past week. We don't have the flu shots available to the general public quite yet, but they have just started giving them to children under 6 or people under 65 with medical issues.

There's been an outbreak in a Toronto hospital this week, and many, many children , up to 30% of some schools are absent from illness, though of course it isn't all H1N1.

And do you think I should get a commission???:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I think we should copyright "Champagne Girls"....

Haha, Deb will be living in PINK!!! Will you ever come out?????

I think you're quite right Marilyn. I'll have to coordinate many pink outfits and pink jewelry and pink accessories. Oh so much planning to do...hehehe.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We're never going to find her in all that pink Haze... :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

John says Mickey too. I was kind of leaning towards him also. That's 3 Mickey and 3 Tink.

I already own the tink ornament. I just don't put her on my tree. I made John make a stand for her and she is out all year long.

John says Minnie would overpower our tree. We get a small table top tree each year....about 3-4 ft.

So that leaves Mickey. Mickey wins! Mickey wins! Yea, Mickey wins!

Thank you all for voting. It was a close call between Mickey and Tink, but in the end....it all started with a mouse.

Yeah... I think the voting was Fixed... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks Holly. So far I only have the earrings and the ring coming. I still have to find the right necklace and bid on it and win it. I found them all on ebay. If you look real hard and get real lucky, you can get them for a bargain price. I got 1.85 carats total with the two pieces so far and paid less than $1k total for both. That's very very good. Especially for pink diamonds. And they're beautiful....good quality. I find the NYC 47th Street Diamond District sellers. They're very reputable. Me and John bought our wedding bands in the Diamond District. Mom bought her engagement ring and wedding ring set in the Diamond District. I wear her engagement ring stone as a teardrop necklace. All the diamonds come with appraisals and are good quality. I trust their products and their business dealings.

My grandmothers rings came from Tiffany's... my mom's came from 47th st... anything I get will be out of a Cracker Jack Box (and they don't have rings anymore... :lmao:)

Just wondering if they are going to get new coffee to go along with the new Palo? Or, are they still going to be serving cheap instant coffee in a supposed upscale restaurant?

I hope so... otherwise we have to send Sukie to the other end of the ship to get some from CC ;)

Same here... people are going nuts over the vaccine... and they've canceled alot of school/sporting events cause it's got most of the team out...

Sorry Kathe, I hope she recovers soon. When my nephew Taylor had it he felt like crap. As soon as he was on Tamiflu he was fine. Is she taking anything for it, or is it to run it's course?

No H1N1 flu shots availble here at all :scared1: They (whoever they are) expected 50K doses this week and got 8K, uhhhhmmmmm we are the 10th largest city in the country and no vaccine :scared1:

all that being said, I'm not getting it nor are the kids. I'm getting my regular flu shot (gotta call the doc for that) since I have asthma. Too much unknown still in my mind. Washing hands alot here ::yes::

The dr gave her a prescription, I think it was for Tamiflu. I've never had a flu shot, but I think I may opt for one this year, unless we've all had the flu already by the time it's offered

Michelle, is your mom feeling better?

Mom's fine... she usually gets something and it goes away in a day... :thumbsup2

Someone from our department sent an email yesterday that they are home with the swine flu and will be out until Monday.

So is anybody else waiting with anticipation for 4:15 to get here? I'm anxious and excited.

Michelle and Barbara and me and John are trying to coordinate a mini DISmeet with Deborah and friends when they come to NY for turkey. I'm thinking that Sat after turkey would work out best traffic wise. John will drive in, pay to park and we'll grab a cab over to Deborah's hotel. It'll just be across town from where we park. We could all go out to brunch and share some champagne since we are the Champagne Girls.

It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Deb - that sounds wonderful!! Wish I could join you!

Why aren't you just driving on over to Chicago?

I'll look for your number, I'm sure I have it. I'll call you. I have to call John too. He'll be on the road driving home.

Oh good, Monica's on top of it and she'll call you. I'll call John.

Thanks Mon.

Why aren't you just driving on over to Chicago?

Oh so you want me and Michelle and Deborah to drive over to Chicago to see you too? We would love to but I don't think we have that much time.

I'm just over an hour from the city and Shell is just over 2 hrs. We can meet at her brother's house and John can drive us into the city. We can then park and take a cab. That's what we usually do in NYC. In fact, we're going in on this Sunday to Grand Central to see the Scrooge Train.
