I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....looks like it's going to be. This stuff is not going away any time soon. That and we're due to get flurries all week.

Oh beautiful and my wedding that I had the three different colour roses too but my scan is not working so hopeful working later I showed you ...

And after my wedding my brother put down the bouquet at Mum & Dad memorial place...

Also my grandmother funeral's I ordered same colours as my wedding too...

Scottishwee35

That's very special and so beautiful Deb, I would love to see pictures if you fix the scanner.

I phoned CC company today for refund for Flyglobespan went busted and I had been told that unlikely to get the refund:confused3

Flyglobespan own 36 half millions pounds...so CC company said they will contact me asap...

Scottishwee35

Oh no.....this is not good news. I hope it works out better than that for you. At least get half back.:confused3

:rotfl2::rotfl2: or she is going to make me sleep outside so I can look like the Ice rink :rotfl2::rotfl2: storm supplies.....2 magnums of champagne, large box of sugar cookies, fireplace, etc.

I like your storm supplies better than mine....I knew that I married you for a reason. I like the way you think.

Here's a picture of some of the items I've cross-stitched for Christmas. The Disney characters was an ornament kit, but I found the French horn and decided to make a wall thing out of it all instead. Before I had kids, I got a lot more crafts done ;):lmao:

Here's Kaleigh with the Pooh we've had since 1995
210335.jpg

Here's the decorations going into the kitchen. The kids like getting "stuck" under the mistletoe waiting for a kiss :lmao: Usually its cute, but sometimes its a pain in the butt when we're in a rush getting ready in the morning. The first year we did the mistletoe, Shaelyn was 3 and it was "uh-oh mistletoe" :lmao::lmao:

And here's the bow Ken put on one of my presents years ago before we were married. It always goes on the wall. :goodvibes

Here's Kaleigh at her concert, waiting to start singing "Rudolph"

And here's Kaleigh with Santa and Mrs. Claus

And here's Shaelyn having a giggle with her friend before starting to sing.

And here's one of Shaelyn where you can even see the sparkly tights which Shaelyn managed to put 3 holes in before the end of the day!:sad2:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing these. So beautiful....the decorations and the girls. LOVE the sparkly tights. WooHoo!

While I was reading there was a loud bang upstair... bang bang bang

I thought Kids up to something

no guess what

Ian and kids are in toilet while door shut and the door handle was broken, they couldn't get out:sad2: I had to get my neighbour to help me and he managed to opened it as he took all the screw off and the handle was broken...

He said funny because his mum was talking about his brother lock out in the toilet as same things to us...

Ian said glad it was today not Xmas day

Scottishwee35

So scary for them, but funny for you. I'm glad they're out.

Grrr:headache: That would really annoy me Ian, having work call you when they knew you were supposed to have started your vacation. I hope you enjoy your week off.

The flowers are beautiful Deb

Thanks Kathe.

Congrats :cool1:

Hmmm....I've been here almost 10 years!!! And lets see. how many posts do I have? :teacher::rotfl2:

Yea, but I don't get out much.

Thank you for the update Michelle, I'm SO glad that Marilyn is starting to feel better :thumbsup2

Marilyn, if you're reading, we all miss you:hug: Get better soon...and make sure John gets everything done that needs doing ;)

DITTO....Marilyn we love you and miss you! John we love you too. Take good care of both of you.

 At least no one was stuck in there by themselves! This reminded me of Ian too...but also of Serenity locking herself in her bedroom not too long ago  A very long time ago, a friend of mine was visiting me with her little boy and he locked himself in the bathroom and couldn't get out! That was before we had air conditioning, so thankfully the bathroom window was open a bit. I was able to get up on a ladder and climb through the window to rescue him  My daughter still remembers me climbing and being stuck at one point half way through, with my legs still dangling outside:lmao::upsidedow

Now this conjures a very funny picture in my head....stuck half way with legs dangling outside....hahaha.....sooooooo funny.:laughing:

My shopping day went well today. I think I may even be done. It only took me 9 hrs :faint:

Now I have to report to work in 7 hrs :sad2: then rush home and go to my SIL's for a Xmas dinner, then back to work Sunday AM then rush home and go to my mom's for our Xmas dinner there.

Then sleep in Monday!!! Monday and Tuesday I'm off and hope to get all the wrapping and baking done:)

Sounds like what they call the "Christmas Rush"....Kathe you are amazing going at nonstop speeds like that. I did it in my youth, but I couldn't do it today....well, at least not without drugs. hahaha.:lmao::lmao:

john.... There aren't any more surprises... She would have spilled by now.... Ok????

Hey, are you saying that I can't keep a secret? I've been keeping this secret since September and seeing John everyday and not saying anything. He really was in a state of shock over the whole thing. I got him good. I think he still doesn't believe it yet. hehehe.;)

Ian - nice overshooes - I haven't seen a overshoes in years.

Deb - nice pictures

It was a busy day here in the Great White North yesterday! We were lazy until noon, and then got busy doing some tidying up and wrapping presents. We put a new toilet seat on!:cool1: and then covered it up with the Santa seat cover :lmao:

Today will be busy again; Shaelyn will be helping me cook pancakes, eggs, sausages and hashbrowns for breakfast. Then its more laundry, more wrapping and probably some Christmas baking!

Oh, and by the way, I did find some work clothing for you:

heroarc.jpg

looks like me, like the sword - it's for people that don't submit their billable timesheets timely ;)

very cool shoes they really didn't look large enough to fit over another pair of shoes which in my mind means good design they looked like normal shoes :thumbsup2

Great Googalie-Moogalie!

I've uncovered surfaces in the office/craft room that haven't seen the light of day in years! Well, OK, since March of 08...the last time Dianne was here.

House is all ready for the cleaning service to come tomorrow (7am!) And I get to PLAY this afternoon....good thing too, because I'm at the exciting conclusion of my current trilogy so now I can finish it with a clear conscience.

So I may mosey over to my neighborhood pizza place and get a 7 inch personal pizza and a big ole glass of diet cola and finish my book on their paito! BWWAAAAA HHAAAAAA HAAAAA! (Take that you snow people!)

.

John is outside plowing with the Beast....I'm inside watching football....the Jets vs. the Falcons....or as Ian would say.....the planes vs. the birds.

1:30 pm still in jammies...must get dressed and go grocery shopping :sad2:

When are you going to tell him about the Jaguar you bought him for his birthday?

Deb's never gonna tell you anything again now that you have ruined her surprise!

 I was thinking the same thing

Did the groceries got a couple of blouses for work attire and now headed to my sisters to see the Navy boy :goodvibes He is home for Xmas break can't wait to see him

The flu.... what a way to lose weight...

The QM leaves today... I have to get her to the airport and then I'm coming home and diving back into bed.

Please hold all my calls... cancel my afternoon appts... and tell everyone that the Xmas party has has to be postponed until at least Wednesday...
