Don't have any time to read or even chat, but I did want to stop by to say we booked the PC Cruise!!!! I'm sure hoping a bunch of Thieves are going along again!

Hi Tracy! There are a few of us booked on the PC!

We had a wonderful time on the Tortola Cruise. Saw some DISers, got to show off Sophie, and did a lot of resting.

Tom said he felt bad that he was missing out on activities by sleeping in a deck chair or a beach chair. I asked him what made him think he looked any different from all the other cruisers sleeping in deck or beach chairs? One would only know he had cardiac by pass surgery if he took off his shirt.

We booked a dummy cruise on Board and moved it to Aug 9, 2011 Alaska after we got home.

Sorry I haven't been here to say hi, I have been reading a little each day though and miss you all

I'm pretty much exhausted at the moment. There's been a LOT happening around here while I was away! Lots of drama...I left home an empty nester, came back to find I am once again sharing my home with my son, and he has Serenity here too, every 4 days for 4 days at a time. I can't believe I've only been home for 3 days

Got your PM Lisa....so happy that we're going to be neighbors...it'll be like the PC cruise again.

I'm curious to see if you like deck 5 aft better than deck 6 or 7.

I can't wait to find out what we think of Deck 5 (we're on Deck 6 again for Baltic)

Well, it seems I'm not having that problem where I sleep all the time! I've been up until midnight most days (usually closer to 1am), get up for work fine and haven't been sleeping my lunch hour away. Strange what a little multivitamin can do! Or...I should say, HUGE multi. When my doc told me to take 1000mg of Vit. D, I started just taking a women's multi that has tons of stuff in it, including the 1000mg Vit.D. So perhaps my body had low levels of other vitamins too, because I've noticed a major improvement in energy.

Tyler and I have been playing checkers for an hour every day for a few days. I HATE checkers, bores me to death, especially when I win every time. But I keep doing it because he's not getting frustrated at all about it. I told him we're going to go shopping this weekend for a bunch of games so we can keep doing something similar most days, he was excited about that idea.

(edited to add - Shannon, you know of course I think the world of Canadians. I recommend everyone travel to Windsor for one night to sample the pizza. Seriously, I love Canadians in spite of the fact that it's an entire nation that runs on an old version of sofware. Canadians are some of the most homosapian people I know.

what can I say, I'm polite, I'm like to keep the peace, I'm Canadian! And I'm bringing the Wonder to Canada!

and I did ask the newbie cruiser, and without my mentioning a poll, she suggested a poll, saying then if anyone complains, its oh well, we voted and went with the numbers.
Of course I'm going to follow the thieves, and if we go our own way (WONDERful tip North sounds great btw!) my heart goes with us, but since I get restless at work, I'll probably still check in other threads when time permits.

My view would be that glass needs some ice and coke to add to the RUM

that's great that you're getting more energy!
And may I suggest Cranium Cariboo as a great kids game! It involves taking a card from the pile and the matching it to the choices on the board. (for example its got the number 3 so you can pick any spot that has 3 things on it, use the key to open that spot (very simple push the spot to pop it open) if you find a ball you put it in the hole. Once the 6th ball is found, it causes the treasure chest to pop open!)
