I believe Shannon made those "Jetsons" pants.

I actually bought those spiffy Jetson's pants. 2 years later, I made Goofy shorts (and even matching ones for my 1yo nephew from the scraps). Those are long gone to some rag pile in the sky.

And we actually met in 1988 when I was a sweet innocent 16. It just took another 1.5 years to hook up. Poor Ken, he was just trying to win a bet, and ended up with a wife. (and lost the bet! )

Deb - Keep up the good work on the weight loss! I reached my goal in July but because I have changed my eating habits I have dropped another 13 pounds in the last 7 weeks. If I can do it anybody can!

Holly - Hope the Dr goes well tomorrow.

We got together in the summer of 1990.

John and I got together in April of 1990 then married in Sept 1990. It was a very good year. Of course, we were much older when we started. But it has been 19 years. It feels like it went by so fast....in a blink, here we are.

If you dropped another 13 past your goal, shouldn't you start eating more calories so you don't lose any more?

I have! I am just not eating sweets(not too many anyway) or fried food and only eating when I am hungry. The real test will start in a couple of weeks when football and tailgating start!

These were taken at Parker Ridge. The first one is of my son Brian and his girlfriend Tammy. We had already gone on a 4 hr hike on the glaciers at the icefields, then spent an hour climbing up this mountain. Just about did me in! But the view was more than worth it!

Welcome home Katy

I had a busy week...

Last Wednesday night I went to Festival to see Stand Up for Freedom at midnight with two interpreters.. as it was for 2 hours to see famous comedy...

then last night Alison and I went to see Craig Hill another comedy... Ian have you heard about him... he is gay and so funny... I saw him twice...

But last night after the show, Ii talked to interpreter and he came over and I asked for photo and we went outside and got the photo... and he spoked to us for a while then gave me a kiss on cheek....

Then after that Alison and I decided to go for a drink but someone came over and hand us two free tickets to see Chipenndale!!! Wow it was brilliant to see few men strippers... oh we were so hot last night lol... one of them throw the tee shirt to Alison lol...

I will put photo but I took video on my camera of chippenndale but I don't know how to put it in this forum...

still learning how to use video lol...

The kitchen floor is a separate issue. John has replaced some floor boards. We are going to leave the flooring back to completely dry out while we are away and they probably get some new to go back down. The extension is going to be an en suite at the side of our bedroom and a walk in cupboard on the side of the other bedroom. Once they have cut through and cleaned up the spare room we are moving into there and getting our bedroom ready for them to cut through there. Getting ready to go on vacation is very stressful at the moment. Can't wait to be over there though.

Oh wow, lot of work! It will be so nice when it's finished though!
