Ian - do you get many kids into WW? What's the youngest age that can do it? The on-line one doesn't take kids.

A very good question. The policy is no children which is defined as under the age of 10. WW accept adolecents (age 10 inclusive to age 17) provided they have a physicians note that gives permission for the young person to follow the program and their physician must specify in writing, their ultimate goal weight, or within a month of joining provide written notice of the young person's goal weight.
Interesting is that I cannot allow adult members to have a goal weight below the healthy range for their height, unless they have a note from their doctor.
Their parent must sign the health release.
The young person must also follow the guide set aside for members their age, which is higher in points than for an adult and also has a good health guideline that includes more milk.
I think the reason why the online program doesn't accept young people is because of the difficulty in enforcing policy and monitoring the young person.
