Well, one of us is a bit under the weather... thought last night it was allergies since I had spent most of the day gardening, but I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat and a teeny tiny fever...

I then proceeded to put my head back between 2 pillows until the Queen Mum could declare me officially sick (something she has refused to do since I was in 3rd grade...:headache:) (how come mothers can never feel you have a fever - she didn't even kiss my forehead to find out... :sad2:)

I got up, ate 2 pieces of leftover pizza from last nights dinner sat out on the deck getting my vitamin D until the wind almost blew the neighborhood away (if anyone hears of cows flying in Glenville...:lmao:)

And I'm now here trying to convince myself I need to go back to sleep for a little bit...

I'm out of Nyquil... And Vicodin doesn't work for a sore throat... at least I don't think it does... :rolleyes1

What's the name of the company that sells the t shirts and stuff that we have used in the past for
DIS board cruisers?

Today was very long, but fun! Tyler woke up at 7am but I told him I'm sleeping until my alarm goes off at 8:30. I gave him his breakfast and lay back down. When my alarm went off, he came in my room to get me and climbed up in my bed, told me he was too tired to go to church, and promptly fell asleep! So I re-set my alarm for 11am (we had to be at Chuck E. Cheese at 11:45) and had trouble waking him up still! He told me he wanted to cancel his party so he could sleep longer! :rotfl2: Somehow I managed to get him out the door. 8 kids showed up for his party! I was so happy about that because only 1 came last year. I have great pictures to share in a couple days when I have time to get to it. I managed to catch on video the little show Chuck E. Cheese does with the kids in front of the stage, VERY CUTE! We didn't leave that crazy place until 2:30!!!!

Somehow the party was extended because a train of vehicles followed us to our house right afterwards because he wanted to show everybody his guinea pigs. :headache: So I had 3 kids and 10 adults in our small house, but the kids had a blast playing in Tyler's bedroom and taking turns holding the piggies.

After everybody left we cleaned up a bit, had supper, and then just when I was about ready to rest a bit, another of his friends came over with her mom and mom's boyfriend (this is Celes, the girl and mom Natasha who used to be planning to go to Florida with us). Celes had a couple presents for Tyler and they both played for quite some time.

I'm wiped out, but it was a wonderful day!

Tomorrow we go to karate right after school, then we have to get Tyler some new shoes and new Crocs for both of us, then we're going to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese for one of his friends who was at his party today. Then on Tuesday he has 2 friends coming over to play. THEN I can rest when he goes to his dad's on Wednesday after karate! :goodvibes

OK, I can't handle waiting until tomorrow, so I'm uploading to photobucket right now. ;)

Michelle, I hope you feel better soon!

Where is everybody tonight?

Has anybody heard from V (FL) how her cruise was?

I should be cleaning the piggies' cages, but am too tired to mess with it tonight, and besides, they seem to be down for the night anyway. They had an exhausting day too because they had lots and lots of people handling them again and again and again. :thumbsup2

Oh boy, Tyler and I are in for some serious weather changes when we hit FL! Temps will be in the 60s (F) here (possibly low 70s) but it looks like it's in the 90s in FL! Holy cow!

Happy Birthday Tyler!:cool1::woohoo::thumbsup2
Sounds like it was great party!

Holly - that's a great email from Tyler's dad. You should keep it to re-read when you are getting frustrated. :goodvibes

Michelle - I hope you are feeling better! :grouphug:

Ian - do you get many kids into WW? What's the youngest age that can do it? The on-line one doesn't take kids.

Hi Kelly, Kathe, Deb, Deborah, Nan and everybody else!

Its been a nice weekend here. My parents brought the girls back from camping about 11:30 and came in to visit for a while. The girls were stinky from the campfire, but very happy.

We've decided to pull the girls out of their daycare, because we're getting too frustrated with some of the rules and the poor communication. For the summer, a co-worker and I are getting together to hire a student to watch mine and her kids at her house for 3 days a week, and Ken will keep the girls the other 2 days. Hopefully that works out okay. Then in the fall, we'll have to find a new daycare for the girls, that will be willing to take Shaelyn to & from school. Hopefully it will all work out. We may end up paying a higher rate in the fall, but it will save us $1000 bucks over the summer :thumbsup2

Time to get the girls to bed. Tomorrow is another week. I get to sleep in a little bit, since Ken is keeping the girls. :thumbsup2

Hi Kelly, Kathe, Deb, Deborah, Nan and everybody else!
Yes, I'm definitely saving that one. It's a nice reminder that although he sometimes disagrees with me on things, he really is a great dad.
