I did - I have to get them from the camera I used. I will try to post.

We will have to check out the bridge!

GOsh, I was so overwhelmed at Disneyland! It has been so long and we didn't do a very good job planning. We had so much fun though and want to plan another trip, which I will do more in advance so we can hopefully arrange a DIS meet. I was thinking it would be fun to go in August...but boy the costs sure add up!

How are your fingers doing? Daniel must be having a great time in Paris.

:rotfl: I was thinking the same thing!

Here are some photos - hope I post them ok - Luke the Pirate

Welcome to Friday!
Your Gateway to the Weekend!

No big plans this weekend.

I am working both Saturday and Sunday, so there'll be no sleeping in. I like to sleep in until about 5:30 AM or 6 at least one day a week.

Around the corner from us there's also a 3-day festival, so a few streets a closed off completely, which makes things a pain, because I have to drive blocks out of my way.

The other big pain is that people, usually drunk, park under the "L" behind our garage and blocks in our cars. This usually makes me furious, especially when they say the line that I have heard for the past 20 years, "Sorry, I didn't know it was your garage." Like it would have been OK had it been someone else's garage.

I'll be phoning the alderman today about how these situations will be managed, and also consulting with the guys upstairs, one of whom is a Chicago cop as to the best avenue for recourse.
I hope your car doesn't get blocked in this year. People can just be so rude. :sad2: Are you and Sukie going to walk down to the festival?

I've seen people in SF put out a "No Parking" stand in front of their driveway. I think Home Depot (is that store everywhere?) has them. Not sure if that would help? They other thing my friends use to do during street fairs is park their car so it blocked their own driveway...that was always risky if it was a fair with drunk people walking around...might damage the car.

Hi Shannon!!!

I saw Ken post on FB that one of the girls is feeling a bit sick... which ever it is... hope she feels better soon!!!

I had to pick Shaelyn up from school at lunchtime yesterday. She was feeling crappy with a bad cold. Part of the problem is that she isn't going to sleep very well at night for a week now, so she's getting tired and run down. I ended up going home with her and doing a work meeting over the phone. Ken was able to leave work early so once he made it home I went back to work, and only missed 2 hours, so I didn't have to waste vacation time.

REMINDER to myself - go back and check out Calmom's pictures (#1839)

Lisa (Calmom) - glad you enjoyed your trip!

Ian - good luck with the idiot parkers!

Deborah - Sounds like you've got a busy and fun weekend happening.

Now I must get back to work.

Deb, what a terrible week. I had a bad week, but nothing like yours.

I have had you in my prayers and you will stay there.

I hope you feel better very soon!

Take care of yourself... :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: We want you feeling better as soon as you can...

You really are ready for something good to happen Deb. What a horrible week. Glad the tummy bug settled, but the leg sounds bad. Go to the doctors if it continues, please.

Deb, so sorry. I hope you are feeling better soon.

:scared1:HOW HORRIBLE FOR YOU!!! pixiedust: ALL MY LOVE AND GOOD WISHES TO YOU TO GET BETTER SOON! :grouphug:YOU POOR BABY!

GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK. JUST TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME.......:love1:

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

:grouphug::grouphug: Deb. Sorry to hear about all your issues. Please take care of yourself.

Deb...sorry to hear that you are having a hard time! Big hugs and well wishes for a better week.

Deb, I'm so sorry to hear about your week.:hug::hug::hug::hug: Your leg, losing your beach weekend and the points, your flu. Good grief! I hope your leg improves soon.

Thank you so much everybody. You help me get thru the frustrating times.

Marilyn, I'm taking your advice and I'm seeing my doctor Wed next week.

I've been lying down constantly and using the leg compression sleve. I can walk without crutches and the pain has dulled.....but the leg remains hot pink in color and stays swollen. I'm still taking muscle relaxers and I'll see what the doctor says when I go. At least this week was better than last week.:cutie:

If you had let me know I would have tried to borrow the no parking signs from the Scotia Memorial day parade last week...

they do that at the lake... they park boat trailers across the entrances if they don't want people to park there... do you have a boat trailer?

Thanks! We did have a great time but wish we planned better so we could have a DIS meet with the locals! Next time!
Lisa

Always another reason to go back... :dance3::dance3::dance3:

Holly, Michelle, Ian

What kind of weather have you had today? I was chatting with my mom just two hours ago and saying what a beautiful day it is today, sunny and warm. Well, now it's gushing rain and thundering and lightning ( I suppose I shouldn't be dissing right now ;) ) Did you all get this a few hours ago :scared1:

It's beautiful today in our parts, but I didn't get to go out at lunch. I was stuck in a meeting from noon until 4:15 PM!

got that right, go look at your wall I talked smack about you on it....just kidding. I'd just smack you here if I really wanted too :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

There's just something about smacking that makes people happy :confused3

I said to a much younger fellow manager at work today..."I'm considering putting in for a job that I know I would probably hate, I just need someone to smack me" (something I of course would NEVER have said before meeting Nan ;) ) Well, he just beamed and stepped up and said "Oh, let me help" :scared1:
