Well, Kris has been here over a week already and what a difference a person makes. He is nothing like his brother. I have actually enjoyed his company. He's sweet and charming and funny and helpful. He's really a good kid. He says that after he graduates.....he'll be a senior this year....he's moving back to PA and getting a job and going to a trade school at night and learning electricity. He's got a plan.

When he goes out, he does call now. It's all good.:goodvibes

All this talk of rain and water and my sunny skies have darkened and I am now hearing thunder.

No rain yet, just thunder. very muggy out now. Almost hoping it will rain and get it over with. We wanted to go geocaching with the girls after work today.

Hi Ken.....great to see you back here. We're almost off this thread and it'll soon be safe for you.

Any news about Shannon's interview. Got my fingers crossed for her. ;)

Sounds like you may have to postpone geocaching until tomorrow. This has been a pitiful start to Summer.....more rain than sun.:guilty:

Just waiting for John to call and tell me he's at the border....when he crosses from NJ into PA.....then I can call and place our order to go for some Chinese food tonight. Then John just picks it up on his way into town.

I've already calculated amounts and points. I'm going to use some weekly points tonight. It'll be my first time.

I already weighed in this morning and we're down another two.....for a total of 18. Slow and steady. Two at a time. I'll be happy next week when I reach 20 total. That will be a good milestone and I'll be at my 8 week point....so 10 lbs. a month average. I'm happy with that.

Usually by this time when eating diet food I get bored with it and don't feel satisfied. Not with WW. I really feel like I could do this for life. I'm even eating Chinese food tonight. I feel like I'm cheating, but I'm staying within the program guidelines. :goodvibes

Random picture. Just because I can ... (you know you can too!)

Nope no news about Shannon's interview. Not expecting much until next week. Hopefully then we will know.

Yep, still no rain but still lots of thunder. Really weird. Our summer has actually been quite warm for this time of year and lots of sun, so the rain wouldn't be too bad so long as it doesn't bring lightning. Some of the forests are pretty dry around here.

Well done Deb. You really are going to do it this time aren't you?:thumbsup2

That's nice, where is it?

Hi Ginamarie.....wow, what a beautiful family you have. I can't believe that Sal is here and Livvie is so big. Thanks for sharing.

The PC repo in 2011 is on the Wonder. And there's an 11 night Southern during Christmas in 2010. I want to do both.....we shall see. It depends on the dates of the PC repo.....if they're too close together then I'm going to have an aweful time choosing.

It's great that you popped on here again. Keep in touch from time to time and ALWAYS post pics of the little ones growing up. We love seeing them.

:hug::hug::hug::hug:

I hadn't heard that the Wonder was definitely doing a PC repo. That might be something to consider. I had seen about the Southern Carribbean cruises in December, but the price tag was too high for us so we picked the EBTA instead. My mom was also very interested in the northern European cruises, but again, too much $$$!

My 2010 vacations are pretty much set in stone at this point, with 10 days in WDW in January and then the two week EBTA cruise and hopefully a week in London afterwards. That eats all of our vacation time! I'll be curious to see what the dates are for the PC cruise in 2011 and what ports of call they're visiting. We have so many places we want to visit that I'm not sure I could convince everyone to do another PC cruise with the same ports- although we really loved the 2008 one! Oh decisions, decisions!

Sounds nice, glad you had a good time! I've never seen a satelite, how do you know if it's a satelite or an airplane?

They seem to be very small stars that keep moving across the sky... planes are much lower... sometimes if it is positioned right... we can see the space station at the lake... (it's a brighter moving star...)

(and most times you can hear the planes...)

Welcome to Friday!
Your Gateway to the Weekend!

No go clean your room.

NO!!!!! You can't make me...:mad::mad::mad::mad:

OK, this should make all you folks with your rain feel better. Our forecast says we have a severe storm watch from 2-10pm today, so we might be finally getting nailed. ;)

Ours says rain from now until Tuesday...

This is so strange. I keep finding all these weird bruises all over me, without being injured. I've never been an easy bruiser, it usually takes a major bumping to cause a bruise for me, so it seems strange to have all of these really dark ones without being injured. :confused3 I noticed a new one in the shower on the inside of my upper arm, where it would be impossible for me to have bumped anything there. Strange.

Any on them in the shape of a palm tree?

satellites are very hard to see. They look like fairly faint stars, but they move quickly usually from north to south (or vice versa). Airplanes lights blink and are larger. I was't usually the first one to spot them, my husband and his sister get the award for the best satellite spotters! But once they pointed them out to me, I could see them, they do move FAST!

we also get the Perseid Meteor storm in August .... lots of shooting stars if the moon isn't up... the moon makes it too bright to see a lot of them.

Ian, John's just got the Wii Fit working again(we haven't been on it in months:eek:), and you and Sukie have just done some step aerobics with him!! Looked like you were doing well!:lmao:

Competition or company?

Hey! I been busy! well, not really. Did I tel you all that Chuck stole my dining room table for his computer table and we went to look at new dining room table sets, but now I think we are going to put a POOL TABLE in there instead!!!!

Get a very large piece of plywood to put over it and you can have Thanksgiving... (we used to use the ping pong table...:lmao:)

Apparently it rained somewhat, and rather suddenly yesterday in MK!!

Ohhh if I was one of the (faux) princesses (as Ian says...) I'd have been long off that float and shopping at the Emporium with the rest of the tourists...

Too bad they didn't have Mickey Slickers to wear... :confused3

I'm sure she won't mind me sharing here, but Dopnna(Ragdoll) who was on our cruise posted this on the Tortola cruise thread which they are going on too. They sure need our thoughts and prayers.

'Worried sick...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hesitated to post this as I don't want to be a downer. DH had some scary test results this week and may be dealing with some serious health issues. A biopsy is being done on the swollen lymph nodes in his chest on Monday. A CAT scan also showed several masses.

Obviously DH's health takes priority. If we make this cruise it will be DCL #15 for us.

Needless to say, I am a wreck.

Now back to your regularly scheduled trip planning. Have fun!

Donna '

I posted on the 9/12 thread... Many :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

I am now at home, working. I had to leave work early.

We had a downpour and our basement flooded. There are now 7 fans whirring away, trying to dry it out.

The Eastwood Canal has been breached? :confused3

Nothing more is going on exciting here. Seems like our lifes have run to a halt...so many activities at the end of the school year and now it's just hang out and do lots of nothing :woohoo:

It's called SUMMER!!! :banana::banana:

Nan, I know you've gone off on a fathers day quest, but ?? for you. Is my bag suppose to puff up.? I did the add on tues and now every morning and evening the bag looks ready to burst. And is it ok to let the air out?

:scared1::scared1:

I'd send you my sun, but we just got it and I'm rather attached to it... besides... it would have to make it all the way around the world to get to you again... might be cloudy by the time Marilyn gets finished with it... still want it?

Very Pretty :goodvibes

Well, we had a little bit of rain while I was grocery shopping after work, it stopped when I got home, and now a BIG storm is coming because there's been thunder and lightning for about 15 minutes, with no rain yet, and the thunder & lightning is getting more frequent. I LOVE STORMS! :goodvibes

Hi Holly.....I vote you as having the BEST dis signature. It changes with every season and holiday and it's always great! You find the best stuff.

Thank you.

Now, since I'm on a pictures kick.....have you posted any more vaca pics to Tyler's blog? I guess I should check right.
Thanks, but the current picture is too big to show it all! That's one giant firework!

No new pictures yet, I've been too busy and too tired and not feeling like getting them done. I didn't want to have so many on there because they weren't posting right, they were getting cut off on the right side of the pics, so I just posted a link to a slideshow that I will be updating a bit tonight. :thumbsup2

Deb, you're doing such a great job with WW! Way to go! :woohoo:

I'm getting back on track starting today. I did some grocery shopping after work to get the right foods. I gained back 5 pounds over vacation (because I took a big break and splurged with foods), so my loss is only 10 now, BUT......it's still a 10 pound loss, and I didn't gain back all 15, so I'm satisfied with that. I don't expect a loss at my weigh in on Monday, but definitely by the following Monday. :thumbsup2

OK, I'm off to play on photobucket a bit, since Deb jogged my memory about vacation pictures. :thumbsup2

hmmm, sounds dangerous to me :confused3

If it were me, I'd let the air out.

I can't tell ya about our because Molly did it and she isn't home right now.

I'll ask her later tonight and let ya know. :thumbsup2

It all sounds great. Well, whatever you pick.....keep in touch with us on here and you'll be cruising again with some of us at least.:goodvibes
