We use AAA and she has booked all our cruises and shes from near Manchester originally so has been very informative about transfers and England in general.

Its funny because she said we were the 3rd family waitlisted by her for this cruise and she thought maybe I would know the others but I dont know of anyone else around here . Told her to tell them about the boards so they could get on here and I could find out who they heck they are LOL

They are obviously very helpful TA's there Heather.

Thanks - I'm just nosey :rotfl::lmao: (and it did make sense to me)

Thats fine...if you know anything special about that ship im all "ears" :thumbsup2

Bethany still has a earache, I think from swimming too much. She has an appt in the am but ive been doing the drops. Shes been crabby because of it but this morning we were talking when I was reading her the email from Holly and she said she would be ok since her friend was ok not doing disney but I could tell she really wasnt until a light bulb came on and she said "when is the PC cruise again? I said well prob sometime in april or may of 2011. She said Ill get to miss school? I said yes and now shes all happy and has done a 180. LOL She did fine last year making up the work and im not going to worry about it.
This new school for this year is very family oriented and as long as the kids are doing well they dont get hung up on missed days for specific reasons.
She already knows geogaphy and more about certain countries then me :rotfl2:

Where is the one you took back with you?? LMAO
:rotfl2:I actually plan on bringing it to work for my desk! I just haven't had time to find something to put it in.....maybe I'll do that tonight. It's so tiny, it doesn't look like a palm tree! ;)

Me and Tyler being on the cruise with you guys had NO play in this? Dang, I'm crushed! ;)

Sorry about her ear, I hope the doctor can get it straightened out. She sure was feeling miserable.

Awwwww you know it did. Well actually seeing Monica, and John and Marilyn made me think of the fun we had on our last one and then the icing on the cake was tyler and you going!!!!:flower3:

Yikes :sad2: I hope at least some of your plants survive  Crazy weather!

They have bounced back nicely thank you... the bigger leaves got most of the damage....

Mmmm, yes, you aren't the best person to come to for getting to sleep tips!!!;)
(I hope you are sleeping better these days though)

I'm getting to sleep easier - but I often have to be up again for work so it's a tough one... :confused3

I did get to sleep thank you Deborah.

I do suffer from these kinds of night terrors, for want of another word. They are always worse when I return from holiday, or when I am stressed. Usually I wake up thinking I have forgotten something important - or at least it is more important because it is a dream/nightmare. Sometimes I sit up in bed and mutter some words until I realise what has happened, but quite often I am quite upset about it all so can't get back to sleep. For a couple of months after a holiday these 'dreams' are usually related to the holiday.

I saw a programme on it once, and it is related to sleep walking as it is at the same time of the sleep pattern. I know my father was the same, and one of our sons. He used to sleep walk as a child too.

Strange.:confused3

That can't be fun... dreams about the holiday? That will teach you to stay off IASW... :lmao:

I think you should just go on permanent vacation then it won't happen...

My fellow DISer co-worker Jan shared this with me and I just have to share. It cracked me up! Her grandkids make her play it over and over! :rotfl:

Ohhh look... it's the suck-o-matic... :rotfl2:

;) Oh, you know I'm just teasing. :thumbsup2

I'm all excited because when I went to the store just a while ago to get batteries and some other things, I found some cute things Bethany HAS to have! They'll be on their way to her in the mail tomorrow. :goodvibes Just a very inexpensive surprise, but it made me smile, so I hope it makes her smile too.

After work today I went over to Tyler's dad's house to take something Tyler forgot, and when I got there, he was on the couch half asleep! His dad told me Tyler had told him he was up until midnight almost every night on vacation and that it seems to have finally caught up with him because he fell asleep on the way home from day care! We sure wore him out! :rotfl: He's never been up that late more than once or twice every, let alone almost every day of vacation! ;)

Well, I sure got spoiled by the weather in FL because I've been COLD every since I came home! It got all the way up to a whopping 69F today. Oh well, next week it's supposed to finally be in the 80s.

I thought I'd check in, now that I'm home from work.

I had a pretty interesting lunchtime walk today.

As usual I went out for my normal walk. I decided to take a different route that took me a couple of blocks further west.

Heading back to my office I heard what sounded like a big crowd of people chanting.

There was a fire department ambulance, driving very slowly up the street, no siren, but lights flashing.

Then I saw them, about 50 or 60 firemen rookies, in gym clothing, jogging up the street in formation, to the sing-song chanting, repeating after their drill captain.

I work very near the Chicago fire department training academy, which is built on the site where Mrs. O'Leary's barn had been.

I stood there watching the rookies go by. The 50 or 60 rookies were all men. (There might have been a woman among them, I didn't notice.)

It was quite an afternoon! I returned to my desk, a little distracted.

--------------

And now I will translate for Ken and Bubba - imagine walking down the street when suddenly 50 or 60 cheerleaders go jogging by, all wearing scanty gym clothing.

.

Ohhhhhhh, hhhhhhhh......firemen..........:love::love:

HAY GAYLEEN.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY

And now I will translate for Ken and Bubba - imagine walking down the street when suddenly 50 or 60 cheerleaders go jogging by, all wearing scanty gym clothing.
Soooo... your saying your rookie firefighters look like Richard Simmons????:confused3

Not what I said, but are you revealing some innermost thoughts?

If you are well, I hardly know what to say.

I say this in the warmest friendship, and also from having seen Richard Simmons up close.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Firemen.........MMMMMMM.......Drooling over here! I've always had a weakness for firemen. :p:hyper::tongue:puckerup:

Holly, you coming with me???? Monica?
I'll beat you there! ;) You couldn't handle how cold it gets there since you're so used to that FL sun.....but I'm sure a hot fireman could warm you up easily!

I couldn't seem to drag myself out of bed at 6am today. Kept ignoring my alarm until I ended up being 1/2 hour late for work. So I guess I'll try to get to bed earlier so I can hopefully be on time tomorrow. :thumbsup2
