I was upgraded from an oceanview (DD 5028) to a balcony (BA 10632)

Oh that is brilliant and I am sure you would love it as we had the balcony last year. Our first times and it was brilliant...

I got brochure for NCL and it look so beautiful and the prices are good too... I quite fancy go on NCL one day...

OK, here's the question of the day ... I received an email asking me if I would like to earn $200 a month, by having Mrs. Fezziwig be a billboard for the year.

They would wrap the car (similar to the bad girls at the Smart Car party) and for this I would get paid.

Should I find out more?

....I did complete my taxes yesterday and am getting back a couple of hundred more than expected, so that was a nice surprise....

Don't go into this telling yourself you'll be disappointed - if you do that, then you WILL be disappointed. Go into it telling yourself that while it's not Disney you can still enjoy yourself. I think the biggest thing for me is going to be that I don't have the same wait staff each evening.

When I was on my Carnival cruise we had the same waitstaff every night. Same restaurant, same table, same waitstaff. There were 2 main restaurants, one at the front and one at the back of the ship, each was 3 levels. I thought I'd be bored eating at the same restaurant every night, but I wasn't because the menu changed every night. It was good!

But then again, NCL probably does things differently, so I'm basically just rambling.....Sorry! LOL!

Thanks for asking, yesterday was pretty good. Not too much drama, but today Paul's mom allready called to see when she can "get the kids" to see them. This is the problem, I don't trust that she will stay sober with them, so I can't make unaccompanied plans with her and them. This situtation rises every 6 months or so, and Paul feels guilty that they aren't seeing his parents. their grandparents....I'm the bad guy. I wish he was the one that would decide to keep them safe

Nan, I'm sorry things have to be this way. I can't understand why she would choose to drink when her grandkids are around.

Wow, only 2 pages since I was on here last night?! I was hoping to have lots to read!

Soooooo busy today at work, but that made me very happy because my day flew by. When I picked Tyler up from school, I realized I'd forgotten to wash our karate outfits, so we both skipped class tonight and are going tomorrow night instead.

I came home to find TWO MORE of my cash cards from Coke in the mail! That's 6 that I've actually received so far! And again, they were $25 each instead of the $20 that mycoke.com says I won. It all adds up! I don't think I have any more coming.....I lost track! But even if that's it, it was a nice extra $150 to keep for vacation.

Oh, and my bad news.....the scale is still stuck on 204. Oh well, I'll keep on trying. I've eliminated almost all sweets (and am not even craving any) and have been really working at smaller portions. Seems like it's bound to help at least a little.

the sad thing is that is exactly the issue with an alcohalic, they don't really make a choice like that. What is really hard is that we never know if she will bail at the last minute or not, so a plan is never set.

I don't know, for $2400 a year, I could be happy feeling cheap!

I contacted them back. I'll see what they say.

Obviously Smart Cars are a novelty and get a lot of attention. I might as well see if I can cash in on it. It would more than pay for the TA cruise.

Perhaps, Mrs. Fezziwig will have to become a working girl.

She doesn't have paint. She has plastic panels.

Which reminds me, there were two women at the Smart Car party (we thought they were a couple), who ordered new panels for their car. They are changing her from a red to a bumblebee like ours.

They did ask if we wanted to swap car panels with them. I told them that Mrs. Fezziwig was very happy being bright yellow.
