Well... I just drank my concoction of lemon juice and olive oil... I hate doing that but I am going to see if it will work... I have had enough of this stone...

BTW... Ian... I'm missing the friend onions for my green bean casarole for tomorrow...I can't make it out to the store with the pain meds... do you have any extra?

Do your taxes. Don't make me have to get on the horn with you Missy!

OK, OK....as soon as I eat I'll drag out the paperwork.....jeesh

......you could still call and check on me if you want....I'd enjoy the distraction. :lmao:

.

Thanks Bubba! That's exactly what I needed to know! So it's basically the same idea as a kitty litter box, right?

Sort of. Ive had rats , hampsters, fish, dogs, cats, lizards and a few other things. They all take TIME. Its not fair to them if you dont have time to feed and clean up after them. Also the more time you have to take them out and handle them from the begining, the tamer they will be, and therfore more enjoyable to have. Great tool to teach responsibility, but like I said its easy for kids to pass that chore onto someone else.:thumbsup2

OK, I'm out of here! Have to call my friend who gives me her $39 employee discount for hotels and see if she can find me one close to Chicago for a night, then have to go get Tyler's silly string, then pick up a couple groceries, pick up Tyler, come home for dinner and head to tonight's candlelight Easter vigil. Catch ya'll later! :goodvibes

Hmmm......still thinking. It would definitely be impossible if I were still in law school and needing to study all the time, but I seem to have lots of time on my hands lately, so I'm pretty sure it would be OK. To clean the cage, wouldn't I be able to dump it into a bag, then take the tray outside to spray out with a hose to clean it?

Hey you really are dissing me....I asked before Michelle. I'll go back and find it and repost for you.

I asked back on page 174 after you did Cheri's.....

"Hi Ken....didn't realize that you were still here. Well you know I have to have one too!! How about one that says EllaEnchanted and 1Grumpy John with Tink and Grumpy......then another one for the Eastern Tortola cruise that says Deb and John with Crush and Figment.....dates are Sept 12-19, 2009 on the Magic.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Happy almost bunny day to you and all your girls! Hope you don't have to hid the eggs in the snow!"

That's it you're off my list.....you're not a favorite Tweeter!!!

I am soooooo Sorry Deb. I completely missed it! Which is why I am not a big fan of requests in the thread.

Note to everyone: If I miss your request in the thread feel free to PM me! I get those.

Deb, you are first on the list when I get home later this afternoon. Have to go to a kid's birthday party. don't really want to go, Canucks are playing, but I am kinda obligated. Obligated in the sense that my wife will kill me if I don't go...

But when I get back I will put up your request. And I will use Giselle for you?? I think did that for some of the cruise magnets for you (only because I think Ella Enchanted isn't actually Disney is it?)...

I have trouble keeping up with Twitter, and tend to do my tweeting on Facebook.

Now, here's an interesting quest for you Ken. See if you can find an application where you type once and it pushes to BOTH Facebook and Twitter.

Yeah right ... don't think that is out there yet...

basically, but then you have to wipe everthing down, because you cant put the sawdust into a wet cage. Its not all that bad, you just have to make sure you do it often, or it will STINK!

Hmm...I think I'd be OK with doing that. Gonna think some more on it. Thanks for the info, it really helps! :thumbsup2

Bubba, it can't be as bad as changing poopy diapers every day for a couple years! That was NOT a pleasant time for me!:lmao:

That's why I have Planky...

He's little...

He's furry

He's Green

& except that he keeps stealing my credit card and ordering off of QVC... this is an arrangement that has worked out rather well... :thumbsup2

It will keep her going until training camp starts up here (they train at SUNY Albany...) for her beloved Giants...

GO GIANTS!

Yea, what she said.

They used to train at Fairleigh Dickenson in NJ. Me and John went to see them there when we lived in NJ. They still had LT and Phil Simms....it was when we were first married.

Prior to that we lived in Sag Harbor, NY....that's where we met and were married. John was in a liquor store on Main Street in town and he admired "some guy's" ring and jacket. He said to him, my wife would kill to have one of those. The "guy" said someone in Jersey made the jacket for him and the ring was specially made. John said, yea it's nice.

We were only married weeks at this point in time when John came home and told me the story about this "guy" he met that I would have liked. We figured out that he was a GIANT. But we never knew who.

When we went to see the Giants at spring training in NJ, I asked John if he could point out the man that he had met in Sag Harbor. He said sure, that's him over there......it was Pepper Johnson and OMG he didn't get me an autograph. He didn't even know he was a Giant. I wanted to make him bleed.

He has been thoroughly trained now though. He knows the Giants. He even knows how their season is going from year to year. He may even know a name or two on the team. We've come a long way over the years.
:cheer2:

Here's my 2 cents ...

this is going to be my main thread I check regularly. Always has been - heck I can't remember the last time I even checked any other portion of the boards ... And used to check out the Disigns threads and the camera/photography threads regularly.

As for the new repo thread, I'll check in there once in awhile or when this one is slow, but until we get closer to the date it's not going to be a big deal to me. I won't be posting our daily activities or things about our daily/personal lives over there as I don't know most of them and who's to say everyone that is on there now will still make it when it's time to ante up? So I'm not going to worry about much over there until we see who all is going on the trip.

But this is where my friends are so this is my main thread for everything. The other thread will only get going for me once we get confirmation that we are going (royal we not just Shannon and I).

As for Thieves vs. Pirates. Remember that Pirates are loud and bositerous. Thieves are much more sneaky ... ;)

This is home....you said it best Ken.

No matter how many other forums I go to, I always go here first and last. If I'm not here then I'm not online.

Jackie - we would like Alaska too!

Well that's it.....we'll all be going thru the Panama Canal and Ian and Sukie, Jackie, Nan and Monica will all be in Alaska.

We'll send post cards to each other. Ours will be hot and yours will be cold.:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh, that I would like. Yea, let's see.

So Tyler's been wanting a guinea pig for about a year now, and I think they're pretty cute too. I've been reading up on them and doing some major checking into the idea. Petsmart has a pretty good deal on a starter habitat that comes with food and treats and bedding and a bunch of other stuff needed, so I'm thinking even harder now. I'm just worried about how stinky they are. My best friend when I was a kid always had them and hamsters in her bedroom, and I don't remember them ever stinking, but it was her job to clean the cages at least once a week, so that probably kept them from stinking. Tyler's buddy's sister has had one for almost a year and her bedroom isn't stinky from it. Anybody else here have any experience? Is it hard to keep up with keeping the cage clean?

I have no idea, but I think it's awesome for you to get a guinea pig for Tyler. I bet it will help him with his sensory sensitivities. You know how he has a hard time with the shower water hitting him.....imagine a cool pet walking on him. Maybe it will be a fun way for him to experience something positive in that regard. It couldn't hurt.
