Yes, we must be careful not to upset new folk. I'm rather thinking we scared off a few from the Tortola thread.

I've been more or less quiet on the Tortola thread, primarily because I'm more focused on our upcoming trip to WDW, and also because I have very little to say at this point.

I find myself double and triple posting between this, the Tortola and the Transatlantic threads.

More on having nothing to say ... the new people don't know me, and well, I can come across as rather odd if one doesn't know me.

Good morning all!

I did sleep in this morning, until 7:30! That's 2-1/2 hours more than I usually do. Of course I also went to be late, at about midnight, though I had fallen asleep in front of the telly much earlier than that.

It was a productive evening. I finished reinstalling Sukie's retiring iMac, and getting it partially ready for its next owner.

Very laid back day here at Eastwood Manor.

A tiny bit of grocery shopping.

The main event is that our Smart dealer is having a 1 year anniversary celebration and meet-up, breakfast buffet and road rally.

Seeing as the green grocer is around the corner from the Smart dealer we will drop in. Sukie can have some breakfast. it will be nice to meet other Chicagoland owners.

I don't think we will be going on the mystery road rally. I really don't fancy spending my day on this.

Wow, it sure is quiet here this morning! Usually if I sign off at midnight and sign on again at 7am you all have managed to fill about 3 pages overnight! I guess it's the holiday.

Also, if sister Di loves cruising I might have to take her through the canal if she's interested...but I know Peg will want to do Alaska.

Also...with two in 2010, there probably won't be any money left!

Nope....as a matter of fact, I'm missing my Thieves friends over there. Although things are a little slow. I think lots of people have spring/summer vacations that are taking up their attention right now.

btw, I LOVED the Easter pictures. My favorites were the one with V and the Easter basket and the one with the two little kids. Awesome shots. A fun time was had.

Ok... I'm reading the Wonder PC thread... they had 624 Disers??? Nah... that's too many... ok... so most of theirs were kids...

I think they're starting to show up now though... this could get touchy...

So I guess by the time we add the Pirates and the Thieves and all the newbies.....we're going to have a great DISer nation onboard again. We'll be taking over the ship!

And I don't know HOW you all do it! I have to take it in shifts. A couple of days on Facebook, a couple here on the DIS cruise forums, one or two on the DVC forums, email every day, still trying to figure out Twitter, gave up long ago on MySpace. YIKES! No wonder the laundry's piling up and the taxes still aren't done!

hahahahaha.....it's so true Tracy. When I log on I tend to get lost for hours. I have different people that I keep in touch with on different forums. By the time I get thru them all it's been long enough that I can start at the beginning all over again. It's a never ending cycle.

I'm actually liking Twitter a lot. I follow celebrities and news forums. The best one on there that I follow is Jeff Probst. He's a really nice guy. Very genuine. He posted some personal pictures yesterday of him and friends on different Survivor locations. They were great.

Even after we get off of the reunion cruise.....this will still be the best cruise EVER.

Who knows. With their 600 DISers and our 400 we can really make a fun trip. Our last trip will always be special to us since it was our first and we got really lucky by finding the DIS boards and meeting everyone.

It does doesn't it. I will be at WDW on the anniversary of setting sail. I will be thinking of you all.



Because it is very important to me. I can't face basic or no sanitation. My insides would sieze up if I had to spend some time in without that. I had a friend who went to Zambia, and as usual she had a stomach upset. The toilets only had water to flush a couple of hours a day.

We will be thinking of you too and everyone else too

I was thinking more about all the folk who used to post on the original Tortola thread who don't post any more. However they will probably be around again closer to the sail date.

I was thinking the same thing! Hmm...It will be very interesting to see how the two groups end up getting along, and if we end up driving the newbies away!

We all have to get along this time They had some really interesting things going on that I want to be part of Plus, I bet a lot of people won't end up on the cruise because it is during the school year. I mean why would they pay more to go on the EB if they didn't care about that.

Ken was actually playing board games with the husband, and I was helping the wife put together a cake for her kids birthday party. She decided to make a 3D castle cake using fondant to decorate it. We started at 9 and it still wasn't finished when we left as 12:30. It was the first time either her or I had worked with fondant. Its not something I'd recommend. Very slow going.

Today all 4 of us will go over there for the party, then home to decorate Easter eggs
