Okay, the distaction is over Holly! I'm just not bonding with the characters yet this season, how about you? Do you know when this season is over...of Survivor I mean, not winter LOL Hope the final episode is done before I go away in May. I hate watching for weeks, then missing the ending, and I refuse to watch TV, except for news and weather, while on vacation

I have no idea when it will be done. It takes me a few weeks before I figure out which characters I like, so I'm still trying to figure them all out.

I haven't seen Serenity since I had her for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. I have been so busy, and her mom hasn't called me. I left another message for her today, though. I'm hoping she calls me back in time to arrange a visit next week on my day off.

I'll try to find what page the pics are on. I was up in MD this past weekend - Sydney's 2nd bday was Monday & we celebrated on Saturday.

Wow, 2 years old already! I'm so glad you were able to share this special occasion with them, and I bet they were so excited to have you there

In June - not sure which weekend I'll be going up yet (depends on which weekend he's w/ my sister vs being w/ his dad). His bday is the 23rd so it's in the middle of the week.

I'm not really getting a feel for the location yet either, although I did hear today (on the Ellen show) that Survivor show crew members had to be evacuated 4 times during this season due to poisonous snake bites

Well, you know that Deborah & I would be as far away from this place as possible!!

In June - not sure which weekend I'll be going up yet (depends on which weekend he's w/ my sister vs being w/ his dad). His bday is the 23rd so it's in the middle of the week.

At least it should be warming up by June! We only have one birthday in June in my family, my mom's on the 15th. She's always in PEI by then so I don't get to celebrate it with her anymore. I can't believe she will be 75 this year! My mom and dad just got home yesterday from a week vacation at wdw. They had a great time and good weather.My good friend and her family just got back a week ago from their first visit ever!!! They had a fantastic time, but a few cool days to start out with. My boss and his family arrived at disney today! I'm a little envious...but their trips will soon be all over and I still have mine to look forward to

Wow! I'd still love to go on the show though.

Not me! We used to go somewhere different in Ontario to camp (in a tent) every summer when my kids were young. I had to shake out everyone's sleeping bag every night just to make sure no snakes were hiding in them And of course, it was always me who would have the "close encounters" on the trails we would hike
