Oh, I know that, but I think the lure of quick weight loss is too compelling for her.

Me too but I lost 40 in one month before. It's a long story but I basically couldn't eat much. I was so happy but I gained it back. It did take me more time than I would have thought though. It still came back and then some.

I have lost 30lbs on more than one occasion. :rolleyes1 I always say I am going to keep it off, but never have.

We're watching a relocation programme. some Brits looking in Sarasota. They have just looked at a gorgeous property at Siesta Key, which is where V lives!!! It looks a really lovely place. Oh my, the beach..... beautiful. They are looking at property over a million $'s!!:scared1:

Hello everyone. I have been working a lot and I don't have time at night for any of you, sorry :flower3: I have a new respect for working mothers :worship:

The other great news is that I loooooove this job. I was sad when I left on Tuesday because I thought I wouldn't see these kids or this teacher again. The teacher is so funny and she looks and acts just like Ellen DeGeneres. The kids are great too. I was expecting the worse and got the best. I was warned that a few of them had emotional problems but everyone has been great so far. We made 345 pb&j sandwiches for the hungry the other day so I got to chat with them like I would my own kids. It was great. I like older kids better.

They called me on Wednesday while I was at another school. They called my cell three times and then called the school office. They scared me. I guess they really wanted me to take this job.

:cool1: So happy you are enjoying work, and sounds like you are less stressed about home.

Ok all caught up. Now it's time to get moving and working on the living room. We might even be able to eat supper at the table tonight ....

Naaah that might be too much of a shock to the system!!

Oh and Shannon, I want to watch "Passchendaele" tonight (probably best after the kids go to bed).

Okay, I can fold the 7 loads of laundry sitting on the couch while we watch that.

We are toying with the idea(yet again!!) of doing the West coast next spring. Hopefully if we do we will get to meet up. We must try for it to be a meet for all the West coast folk.

:thumbsup2 Do it! that'll give us a reason to go back again next year.

....That and I have a tonne of stuff to do around the house today after Shannon finished doing a beautiful job laying the laminate flooring. Now I gotta put the rest of it back to rights.
.........

:woohoo: :cool1::yay: GLAD YOU LIKE IT!! SHE WORKED HARD! :yay: :cool1: :woohoo:

www.theshackbook.com No really sad right now.

Oh I have read it. Excellent book but a bit difficult to get your head round. You need to think of it as a modern parable.(i.e like the Good Samaritan in the Bible), and not something that is literal, but something that can teach us loads. Yes, I wasn't really prepared at all for the upsetting bit.:sad1:

I keep saying "This has got to get better or I'm going to ring someone's neck".

:lmao:

The GPS logger I ordered last weekend had, as of yesterday, not arrived. If I get it this weekend, I hope to experiment with it, my camera and iPhoto.

If I do, I'll email you some screen shots.

Looking forward to seeing how it works for you. I have yet to play with my setup and the handheld GPSr I have. In fact I haven't even got out to take many pictures at all.

Probably rectify that this weekend when we take the girls to see High School Musical on Ice in Prince George. Hopefully they will let me take my camera inside to take pics.

:rotfl2:

Nope. The only way you can acquire more points is via exercise.

What is this word "Exercise" of which you speak???? :happytv:

Oh, and another thing ... you're just a emerging Canadian bigwig.

I do have a question for you about PMs .... Does the PM PM you? Do you PM the PM?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Ok here goes ...

No I'm not big enough yet to PM the PM. However, I can PM the PMO. But more than likely I would PM my MP. But if I really want to get things done I would PM the MPA or even just the MPO.

But if I was dealing with the party itself I would probably PM the PO or even directly to the DPO. I do regularly PM the RO and have constant PM's from the NC.

As of right now, however, I am working on the Provincial election so I PM my MLA a little and continuously PM the CM for the election campaign.

But federally, no I do not PM the PM.

Did you follow that?

And I didn't even get into my line of work, just my current "hobby". ;) My line of work is even worse!!

I think I almost burst into tears, and I was thinking about it all night.

Well I'm going to stop reading because we are going away this weekend and I want to stop thinking about it.
