It's back! I have NBC again. Jay Leno is on. I found a few options for searching for channels, one searches cable, one searches antenna, including digital on both searches, and there's a separate search that called "digital add-ons" and I just ran that one, not really knowing what it means, and NBC came back. I hate electronic stuff.

They have 10 pools, a lazy river, it's right next to AK at WDW (or so they say), and looks so relaxing! So beautiful! And very inexpensive. I'm ready to book, but am just waiting to hear from Heather on whether they want to stay with us in one of the suites or if we'll just book separate rooms in case they can't stay the whole time that we're staying.

what about the Pop? I thought you booked that 3/4 deal?

Nope, I didn't book that because my friend here in town told me she doesn't want to pay more than $500 for the week. She's no longer going, and it didn't make sense for me to do the pay for 4, get 3 deal for just me & Tyler because that's based on 4 people. So I've been looking on Priceline. Much more affordable for us to stay offsite somewhere.

My other friend Heather and I have been emailing links to different places back and forth trying to find something we both agree on. When I was going to do the 4/3 deal (before the other friend decided she can't join us), so she told me it would be better if her family books something separately and they'd meet up with us in the parks. But when I told her we're not going to stay onsite (since it's just me & Tyler), she then thinks we can find a place for all 5 of us to really cut costs.

Things have been changing left and right! At one point she told me the cabins at Wilderness Lodge would be great, but then she told me the price was more than they can afford right now.

So we've both been looking and I stumbled across the Holiday Inn-Orange Lake Resort on Priceline yesterday and think it looks awesome and is really affordable. I emailed it to Heather and told her I'd like to book that one just to get this mess over with! It's making me nutso!

Greetings all...

I figured I'd check in before I go and drug myself up enough to sleep or cry... which ever comees first...

It drives me nuts when family visits...

I didn't go the caverns with them because I didn't get to sleep until 9 am...

I finally took 1/2 a clonaprin and put myself into an artificial la la land...(that was after 2 rounds of garbage trucks roared through the neighborhood at 6 am and 6:23 resectfully ( you can tell I was watching the clock...)

They all left to go to the caverns leaving Reilly - the family pooch with a newly diagnosed thyroid problem home with me...

I do believe he has taken the correspondence courses that Talluah and Truman offer online about how to get back at those who leave you behind...

The dog took a dump TWICE outside of MY bedroom. Once after THEY left... and another time after we ALL went out for dinner... (Why MY room... I have no idea...)

Then I got stuck watching "Flower Drum Song" on TCM... and I've always liked this movie, but apparently the drastically editied to fit your screen version I've always watched on TV was NOT the one I watched tonight (what WAS with all those interpertive dances???)

Then they ALL wanted to sleep downstairs because they didn't want to put anyone out... all fine and dandy but they got into a "discussion" as to why I should put the aero beds up for them since my brother was already taking a power nap on the floor... (I ignored them and put the beds up while they were "discussing" it... )

Then I had to pack up my "snacks" (things I usually keep on hand just in case I have to take something in the middle of the night and don't want to take it on an empty stomach...) and everyone wondered why I looked like I was packing enough for an Arctic expedition... (really it was 2 cups of ice, a pretzel and some juice...)

Then I came upstairs and started to look online for some sales for a short coat becuause I don't have one... I asked mom to take a look at something that Lands End has on sale because my sister sent me a gift card and they have free shipping and mom and I got into a heated "discussion" over a jacket that is hanging in the closet downstairs that I have ALWAYS hated and will not be seen out in public wearing... BUT I needed to try it on to get the sizing (code words for... you should wear this one... even though you hate it...)

& I got the usual "You need to clean the garage out" talk...(I don't have a basement and you know... the lawn mower has to go somewhere...) (and I'm under no circumstances going to sit in a garage and clean until the temps outside reach at least ABOVE FREEZING...)

My computer is on life support... everyonce in a while it comes to life, but it's been downloading a security update for at least 5 hours now...

& I just want to scream!!!!!

(but it would give me a headache...)

So that's where I am...

I will be back tomorrow...

A little joke worth sharing.

Cup of Tea

One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me.
I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident.
Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys.

Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water.
After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.

My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up.

Then she says, (as only a mother would know... )

"Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet? "

OK, I have to go to bed because that's the only way I can stop myself from eating. My binges are back, and I just ate a whole 13 oz. bag of tortilla chips with a whole jar of salsa, and then a whole bag of Brach's Hawaiian Punch flavor jelly beans. Plus too many bagels and Poptarts to even remember while at work today. Like I always tell Tyler, tomorrow is a brand new day and a brand new chance to try to start being better.

same with me too,, I feel guilty now as I put on the weight too, wonder if I take lots of exercise when spring come... or go to ww classs?? I am thinking...
