Well, I just discovered my first problem with the new computer. It doesn't run on MS Windows, it runs on Linux. It doesn't run Internet Explorer, it's Mozilla Firefox. So far, it's not much different and I've been able to figure everything out that. But for some reason Photobucket can't "see" the pictures and video clips to upload them. Like everything else so far, I'm sure I'll be able to click around and figure it out, I just didn't expect it to take this long, so I'm venting.

As soon as I found out Desperate Housewives wasn't coming on, I was going to get caught up on Facebook right after loading my pics & videos to Photobook. I guess Facebook will have to wait another day.

na na na na you can't reach me here in California:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm waiting to see the TRUCKS, you know I like them too dontcha???;)

He asked me if we are taking them to school tomorrow for sharing. He is really excited about it. The hard thing is that none of his friends at school get it. They think he sits on a track and drives around in circles (or ovals) I'm hoping to take a video to school and the throphy to share with his class. He also talked last night about writing a letter to Lewis Hamilton, who one Formula One this season, as the youngest driver in history at age 22. Hamilton starting his racing career at the age of 8 in go karts:drive:

A video would be a cool way to let them see what he does :happytv:

You can watch them on sci-fi right now since DHW isn't on. They've been showing them all day.

I don't have cable. But I loved to watch it when I used to have cable. Gosh, I think it's been a year and a half without cable! But I'm going to get connected again when I get the new TV, partly because a new TV will suck with just a few channels, and partly because I want cable internet again because AT&T has given me too many problems. AND I'm starting to miss lots of shows I used to watch!

That's a great idea, Nan, to take a video to show too! Wilson definately deserves to share his accomplishments with his classmates. I bet they will be impressed!

Sorry - I forgot about the no cable. Cable is always the first company I call to arrange for service each time we move - must have my HBO, Sci-Fi, and USA :happytv:

We've been really happy with our cable internet.

omg, that doesn't even look like you

did Jon serve on a police force? i thought he worked at the casino forever:confused3

Jon was an officer for awhile, then he worked at the casino as an officer because they made more money and he decided to go inside the casino and made a lot more money. It is a lot less stress for me too :goodvibes

Wow this game is WILD!! I wanted the Cardinals to win...but with Gretchen sick...I have not watched much.

Oh, I've got some cool little video clips! Not many still shots because they just were turning out too dark. But I'm having Photobucket issues. I might just have to take my SD card to work tomorrow and upload from there, or turn on my old computer and do it that way. I just hate using the old laptop because I have to sit in the bedroom to use it since it's connected to a big clunky monitor in there.

That's a bummer that the other kids at school don't get it. Good thing he has all of us here to be excited for him! :cheer2: Tell him he has a whole squad of DIS cheerleaders!

Yup, I loved my cable internet too. Can't wait to have it again! :thumbsup2

I have talked to the doctor and her fever was still 103.5. The doc asked what kind of thermometer I was using....and I told her oral mercury....she said "your kidding right?"....she said no one has said that to her for over a year....??? Am I that backwards?? She said it is very accurate...just I need to add a degree to an oral temp!! :crazy2: :crazy2: :scared: :scared: :scared: We just never (well hardly ever) get sick...

I washed her down again and she had a dose of Tylenol and it was 102 degrees and now she is asleep

They gave me an hour and if her fever was not down to 102 to take her to the hospital.

So now what do I do?? She refuses to go.....YUCK....At least she stopped shivering.....

You are the mama, take her. Do I need to use my really bossy voice here?
Lisa, I know it's no fun and it's a pain in the rear and she doesn't wanna go but it will be better to know it's nothing than worry in fear or worst case get her in later when she needs to be there now.

why aren't you taking her????

And Lisa, I've heard that fevers tend to go up in the middle of the night. You don't want that with how high it already is. She needs to go get checked out tonight because even waiting until morning is scaring us all here I think.

I hesitate because I called the hspital and there is a 6 hour wait right now...must be a lot of sickness.....I HATE the ER. I can get her in the doctor at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

She has stopped shivering and her fever is now 101.....She has pepped up a little now too.

Wow, looks like the only way I can get Photobucket to work is to use their old uploader where you have to click individually on each picture. Oh well, at least I can get it to work! :thumbsup2

ah ha I had part of the story right. Interesting path to where he is now. :thumbsup2

I told him and he said the kids at school don't get the Disney cruise thing either. Okay that is funny :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He loves it that you all cheer him on. You are truely extra family in this regard :grouphug:

that is a shame. we have a local ER that must see paitents within 30 minutes. It's part of their own standards. That is a private hospital, the local county hospital (which is the one around the corner from us and the best in Northern CA for spinal injuries) is the same as what you talk of...waiting for hours...good luck sweetie. I'm praying for her and you. Tell her we need to start getting our Toyko 2010 plans in the works ;)
