We tried to plan one this March and Deb and John and Lisa and Darryl were going to come but that didn't work out. Now it is just Ken and Shannon and everyone from around here. I should email Lisa because my kids would love to see hers. She hasn't been posting so I'm assuming she's not reading. Have you kept in touch?

She is doing well. We keep in touch pretty regularly....although we have been playing phone tag for quite a while now. Pop her an email or a message on FB....she just doesn't get on the DIS much these days.

When do the hours for mid Feb come out? It seems so strange that I cannot find them yet. WDW usually has hours released for months ahead of time and DL does things so differently.

A woman needs to start planning ya know

I think I would get fed up well before 3 months!!! As I have got older I'm not as keen on driving and then getting somewhere to sleep. I want more relaxation - unless it is charging around WDW that is!

Nice that our schedules are exact opposite!!! Someday we'll have a schedule that works for a big reunion....has anyone talked about that? I know there are constant reunions going on though....sounds like the april repo will be a big one as well as the tortula in sept. Not for me though

Yeah we are in the same boat. April Repo and Tortola are out; although I keep looking.

A giant reunion may be difficult due to the sheer distances we are all from each other. This planet is just so darned big!!

Perhaps the next Panama Canal repo...

And you never know. In 2005 we went to DL in May (took our daughters for the first time - Kaleigh was 3 months old), and then in October we just up and decided to go back again with the girls. So we have been known to make plans up as we go along and just say "screw it we are going".

I had a funny dream last night. In my dream, we were joking on here about me driving over to Gaylean's to drink with her. I said I'd be over soon. I drove all night and made it to her house by morning (yeah, I know, it would take lots longer). She couldn't believe I actually did it! Marr was sitting on the couch, which was funny because I didn't meet her and am not sure what she even looks like! Gaylean had a candy business that she ran out of her home, so I helped package up a shipment of chocolates headed out that day. Then Jon found some blankets and a pillow and told me I could crash on the couch for a few hours and that we were all going to DL the next day. Crazy!

Ok how's this for a roadtrip?

I haven't quite figured out how to add Britain and Scotland to the map yet. And of course I can't forget my compatriot out in Ontario (Kathe) that would have to be added, but I think I got most of us covered (or at least within some proximity that could be covered). I also believe we would have to make a detour for Jill and Matt - just so I could be there to take a picture of the two of them when they needed it.

And I think I would modify it to go up the California/Oregon coast.

So who did I miss?

According to Google maps it is only 14746km (9163 miles) or about 6 days worth of driving.

WOW, I was looking at the map, wow to see all the name of places..

We may be up in St. Augustine that weekend. I'm just browsing accommodation and it is looking a bit expensive so we might stay in Orlando, or go to Vero Beach. WE won't know just yet. Are you there the week before or after? If Monica is up for it we could meet in an evening.

Well, looks like we are now going to DL for sure.

I just contacted our travel agent and booked our trip.

We will be leaving here on March 14th and getting into Anaheim on the 15th. We will be there until March 21st.

We have also bought tickets to Seaworld so we plan to do that on one of the days (I'm leaning towards the Wednesday).

Unfortunately, we won't be there over a weekend so it is only a weekday trip for us. Sorry for those that can't make it except on a weekend.

I think everyone is looking forward to the PC cruise. Ethan will be in 6th grade if it's in 2011. That will be hard but oh well. I think if we did it at the same time of the year I would just take them out for the rest of the year. They only went to school for like a week after. That way I can take more time off and go to WDW.
