She's right, we're replacing the carpet, so the odd splatter doesn't matter. I did put a garbage bag down as a spill sheet where I was pouring the paint into the trays, though.
And flat sponge type edger with rollers works great for along the ceiling and the corners where the colour changes. For the doorways, I went part way into the doorways and just went careful with the brush and had a damp rag ready to wipe any mistakes away.

First, here's the girls all proud about the wall they painted. I gave them both a roller and they got to do the first coat.
Here's a shot of the wall connecting to the kitchen. My poor dining area is completely buried in living room stuff.
And here's a shot of me showing off the hallway. The end wall is actually the same colour as the side walls, just looks lighter in the picture.
Ken gets to do the 2 darker brown walls tomorrow.

Willie and I just finished Indy...now on to freeplay to get the rest of the loot.
It was fun, but too fast. I think we played for about 4 or 5 times to complete it. Oh well, next game here we come.
