Ken and Shannon, I noticed that you guys don't tape edges. How do you cut in around doors etc. One of those flat sponge type edgers? And no tarps on the carpet?

We used really small rollers and we didn't need to tape. They are replacing the floor so they don't have to cover the carpet.

She's right, we're replacing the carpet, so the odd splatter doesn't matter. I did put a garbage bag down as a spill sheet where I was pouring the paint into the trays, though.

And flat sponge type edger with rollers works great for along the ceiling and the corners where the colour changes. For the doorways, I went part way into the doorways and just went careful with the brush and had a damp rag ready to wipe any mistakes away. :bitelip:

Now I'm motivated to paint again. Did I tell you I loved it. Did I also mention my kitchen is orange, like a pumpkin :upsidedow

:thumbsup2 How come she got it and you losers didn't?

Cause I'm a Mets fan...it comes naturally...

No actually it's that you pick a team that you hate the most. I don't have a favorite, just one I really really dislike.

Ok... Flame me...it's the Yankees... and it's because of an old boyfriend... When the Yankees lose I feel very good... As well as the Giants and Univ. of Virginia (sorry Lisa...) When they all lose on the same weekend... I feel very vindicated... ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

thank you for the advice, I've stretched, just not enough I guess  and I'm really good at being a pain in the butt, for what it's worth :snooty:

Well, you're MY favorite pain in the butt!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Here's a couple shots from today:
First, here's the girls all proud about the wall they painted. I gave them both a roller and they got to do the first coat.

Here's a shot of the wall connecting to the kitchen. My poor dining area is completely buried in living room stuff.

And here's a shot of me showing off the hallway. The end wall is actually the same colour as the side walls, just looks lighter in the picture.

I'll miss your birthday Lisa. I'm heading home on the 18th. It sounds like a weekend might be best for everyone. I'm only there for one weekend. What does everyone think, would Sat May 16th or Sunday May 17th do?

Kathe

We may be up in St. Augustine that weekend. I'm just browsing accommodation and it is looking a bit expensive so we might stay in Orlando, or go to Vero Beach. WE won't know just yet. Are you there the week before or after? If Monica is up for it we could meet in an evening.

Looking good!!!

Willie and I just finished Indy...now on to freeplay to get the rest of the loot.

It was fun, but too fast. I think we played for about 4 or 5 times to complete it. Oh well, next game here we come.

And I'm tired and going to bed

nite nite:wave2:

John has got nowhere with the game - he obviously needs a child to help him!!!!:lmao:
