Hello Marilyn, Gaylean and Michelle

How are you all?

Michelle that is good about kidney stone.

I had very sore lower back and now very sore all round tummy and lower back, I had it for a week now. Tonight is worst, Ian tell me to phone dr tom morning. Too painful dont know if i have infection?:sad2:

Maybe I am getting old :rotfl:

I wiped out my memory card and glad got it back this morning. I found it and put it in my pictures. Phew. Lots of good photos as I didn't want to lose it again.

Scottishwee35:sick:

Hi. We are fine? I'm so glad to hear about your pictures. Don't forget to back them up somehow. We lost our hard drive and a lot of Brooke's baby pictures are gone. I keep bugging Jon to back ours up but I'm sure he hasn't.

& it would be WARM so that completes the prerequisite for Gaylean and Marilyn... :cheer2:

That sounds good to me. And a group rate does too. This time I'll spend more time with all of you and less time with my family :lmao: That was a really big joke.

Jill - I knew what song you meant as soon as said Koda - "tell everybody I'm on my way, new friends and new places to see" I had that song in my head on the bus ride to the port and then they played it on the cruise.

Very interesting - maybe the ship that comes to California permanently will do a trip up the coast to Alaska (right, Gaylean;) )? or zip across the Pacific to Japan?:confused3

I just quickly skimmed through 4 days worth of post and sounds like there's been lots happening. kidney stones, car accidents, new animals, sciatica . . . you are a busy bunch of people!

We too will be busy in the near future - we bought laminate flooring for our living room, hallway and stairs, and bought new chandelier for dining room. Hoping that I find a new job soon, and that we'll be moving, so already starting to update some of the house. We also picked up booklets and made an appointment with a kitchen designer to see about new cupboards. Want to do enough to improve resale value of the house, so its a gamble to decide how much is enough and not too much.:confused3

I'm at work and I should be working but it was much nicer to take a long coffee break and quickly get caught up! :goodvibes Now I'd better behave myself and get back to work.:guilty:

Well I hope everything goes well with the house and you get a new job soon. You have to make time to check in with us. I don't even try to catch up anymore. I just hope I don't miss anything. How is Wii fit? Has anyone lost any inches?

Hi all...some interesting news or rumors..depends how you look at it.

My friends just got back from their first disney cruise and they loved it..of course. Turns out they had a cast member from the cruise lines at their table. So of course, they were asking all kinds of questions about the ship etc. Anyway, not knowing the impatient waiters that we all are about the 2010 itins..they gleaned some interesting info off of this man. As we all know the new ships are to stay in the carib. for a couple of years and apparently this man said thats why the old one will go to california permanently. Hmm...thats not out yet?~ The magic will also go back to the med and then whichever ship goes to cal the opposite will be in the med. So I'm going nuts on the phone with her asking if she's sure she's heard him correctly, whats his position with the company etc. and she doesn't know. Didn't ask those! hmpf..newbies! However, they did look into rebooking and didn't want to do the caribbean and the DCL rep asked if they were interested in the med? And that they should check the web site in the fall to find out the 2010 summer itin.

You can take this for what you like. I cannot guarantee my info as my friend has no idea the disney freaks that we are. I just hope that if they do come out here perm. we california people get the resident discount and special offers similiar to florida and the prices come down!

In order for the current ships (ship) to do Alaska there would need to be some major changes due to the colder weather. We were told by a CM in CA (and we know this person is not someone of authority ;) ) that one of the new ships would be set up to sail in colder seas and in CA permanently. :confused3 Interesting, we will see.

Hello everyone. We were busy over the weekend. We went to the beach yesterday and had brunch at a fish place and dinner at an Irish pub. The day before we had dinner and drinks with friends. So basically we HAD A LOT of fun and now I'M BORED!

You really don't want to know what my mother used to tell me when I told her I was bored.

Ok... it is official...

I passed one stone and found another... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I'm sitting here with a full litre of lime juice (no vodka...:headache: ) and I have to drink this and see if it moves...

Pain is not fun...

But my mommy :cutie: is taking very good care of me and is going out later to get me rainbow sherbert...

I love my mommy... :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

Michelle,

I hope you're feeling better.

I make a blanket apology... covers everything... I also promise to feel them good food, breathe clean air and do educational things... (I'm the AUNT for Criss Sakes!!!!) Right Monica???

I hear they are worse than labor, but not having been in labor... ya got me... They say use lime juice cause the citrites break down the stone. I'm going to try my other "cure" later which is the olive oil and the lime juice but it tastes like drinking a bottle of lemony salad dressing and it makes me  for a while...

They run on my fathers side... I inherited those, the fat hips, white hair and bad sinuses from his side... At least I didn't inherit all the other crappy traits...:scared:

It's been 3 years since I've had this much pain. I am used to being in pain from my neck and shoulder - so I have pain meds on me for emergencies... I just don't want to have to go to the ER and have them send me home and tell me to drink lime juice... after having a cat scan, etc... I'll have to see what's what...

I am so sorry to hear you are in so much pain. In the ER can't they use sonic stuff to break the stone down?

This is the logo, unless it gets changed as not many folk have been on to see it yet.

I have not even subscribed to that thread yet.

No swimming Mickey on the 90 day out mark.

We were able to book our excursions with ease.

Also made Palo dinner, brunch, and high tea reservations all on the days and times we wanted.

Took all of ten minutes!

Thanks for all the well wished. I was feeling much better until I tried to clean the house today. Wed is DHs birthday and we will be having company. I think it is a pulled muscle since it is getting better with rest. I spent most of the day sleeping and watching TV. Tomorrow at work I will take it easy.

I hope everyone else who is not feeling well gets better soon.

Good morning everyone.....I didn'teven go on the computer yesterday.....I see you all were very busy......even giving out directions!

To answer your question.....Mike is going to Duke Law School in Durham, :surfweb: NC, We are all very excited for him.  :cheer2: :cheer2: I guess I could add him back to my siggie, but I haven't decided what I want on it, so I just got rid of everything! I'll think about it soon.

Anyway, my Siggie's not NAKED! Doesn't my photo of Chuck, Pat and me show up?

Gonna take my my mom down to Good Samaritan Village which has apartments, single homes, manufactured homes and assisted living. She didn't like the looks of it a couple of years ago, but she may have changed her mind.

WE are having rain rain rain rain everyday.....must be July in Florida! I't's sunny now, but it's only 8 am.:cool2:

Yes, the photo is there. I meant there was no info or pictures besides that.

You might see if your Mom could spend a couple sleep overs at Good Samaritan before making a permanent move if you decide you want her there.

We had my Mother stay at the Alzheimer's community for respite visits before she moved there. So, several times she went for the weekend and one time she did not go home. She was not happy about it at first, but now she is so much deeper into the Alzheimer's that I do not think she remembers.

I know that is not your Mother's issue, but it was a thought you might want to try, to let her experience it first.

That is exactly what she's going to do! We went to the Good Samaritan Village today and had a tour, and she was very impressed by it. I don't know why she was so negative about it a couple years ago.....I suppose it was a totally different situation...her health was much better.

Anyhoo.....they have these guest apartments which they rent for up to 3months at a time, also nightly. While we are on our cruise next week, she's going to stay in one to see how she likes the place. She met a few very nice people over there today. It's only 10 miles from my house!

There's an indoor pool, and outdoor pool, a golf course, shuffleboard courts, a huge community hall with a stage and a game room for cards and stuff. They have their own TV station. They have doctors and podiatrists come to the medical facilitly every week, so you don't even have to go to the dr. They a have a bus that takes people shopping etc.
Also there's a new Publix right next door and you can frive your golf cart right up to the store through the special gate!

Oh, my, I think I'LL move there! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

well, it's midnight and I have a computer class for work tomorrow at 9am....we are all getting computers to check people in with.......I am really looking forward to it, but a few of my fellow cast members are NOT! Some are just a little adverse to change....especially if they have been doing the same thing for 10 years! :surfweb:

Does everybody know that next week is DCL's 10th anniversary? my freinds, Faith and Pete are going on the Magic in CA because they were on the very first cruise.

That's pretty neat!

I keep trying to check in. We were in Prince George this weekend. The kids stayed at their grandparents and we went to a hotel! :cool1:    We went out for a nice dinner and then to a moviepopcorn:: . We debated between HellBoy 2 or Wanted and I picked Wanted. I wouldn't rush out and buy it, but it was enjoyable. On Sunday we took the girls to Wall-Epopcorn:: . Shaelyn (DD6) enjoyed it. Kaleigh (DD3:cutie: ) had a 30minute snooze near the beginning, and wanted to go home before it was over. But she says she liked "babies and white robot". I really enjoyed it.

WiiFit - today I went on it again after missing 4 days in a row! I'm enjoying it and still doing mainly aerobics exercises. I'm getting better at them and tonight Ken said my legs are getting skinnier :thumbsup2 but I haven't lost any weight (it bobs around depending on time of day and water retention) I need to keep pushing it and do it. Keep meaning to kept early in the morning and do it before waking everybody else up, but I'm not really a morning person, and I already get up at 6:30ish, so earlier doesn't appeal.

Now I have to go hold the new fencepost straight so Ken can fill in the bottom. I'll check in again before bed!

Steph (Tay's mom) - have you got your daughter hooked on So You Think You Can Dance? I've started watching it on the Eastern channels so I can watch with my girls - its more fun watching it with somebody that enjoys it (Ken doesn't)

She's not as hooked as me. She likes the results show for the live acts. Last weeks Katy Perry was a big hit. We love that song, so she wouldn't let me delete it so she could go back and play it again and again. Such a bad mom!

Hi Gaylean!
Sorry about that. I told him I would give him your information as it gets closer. He has a tendency to lose information! You're still on tap for the pick up and THANKS a ton! Can't belive it's less than a month! I can't wait.
