Holly - I love Tyler's "underwear on her chest" comment!

Ian, Marilyn and the other WiiFit users - I really my new cover - its slightly cushy and grippier (I'm pretty sure that's not really a word, but oh well). Ken's trying it now, and he just thinks its weird. We use the WiiFit in our rec room, which just has thin carpet on top of cement, I put the WiiFit on the yoga mat and its much easier on the feet.


I'm jealous of all these people planning trips! We're in the not planning anything phase waiting to see how my job hunting goes. I'd love to be heading to California for the wedding, and maybe the stars will align and we'll be able to!

I must look out for one over here.

Have you tried the balance game sitting on the board and watching a candle? I just can't sit cross legged on there, but John can and has actually managed the time length!! It is hilarious watching him getting cross legged down on the board though.

They were very nice - it's a small town and they go all out for it - the fireworks were over the lake and it was cool to watch all the boats going back up the lake afterwords... all the little lights going past...

OK, I was having a melt-down trying to organize the list for the get together in California in September (A meet up and wedding celebration).

So, Nan has graciously offered to take over the planning. She'll be better at it than I will too.

I feel so relieved. Now I can focus on our attire for the day of the wedding.

I have some interesting plans.

I never wanted to go through the agony of getting the blisters between my toes that would then heal and form the necessary calluses!

Cherie... I brought great blister bandaids with me... they were like gel...look for them in CVS or Walmart... they were Bandaid brand...

Now that I'm on cleaning, the latest argument Sukie and I are having is over algae ... yes, algae.

We have a fountain in the front yard. I want to put an algaecide in water, Sukie does not. He is in firm belief that the fountain splashes (which it does) and the algaecide kills or burns the plants it splashes on.

Yesterday, we were in Lowes when this argument started. I finally said, "OK, but I'm telling you that algae is going to clog up the pump, and ruin the motor."

After we came home, I spent most of the day on the front porch. At a point in the afternoon ... silence. The fountain had stopped.

I started checking circuit breakers, etc. I put my ear to the fountain and could plainly hear that the motor was humming.

I had to start bailing out the equivalent of pond muck, and disassemble the fountain. Sure enough, algae had clogged the motor.

Sukie stood there looking at me. I stood there looking at Sukie, and with the greatest pleasure and a heart more full of joy than I have ever known I said, "I told you this would happen."

Cleaning up the motor was easy. Realigning the screws in mucky water to put the fountain back together took me nearly an hour.

I need to go on the Internet and Google to see if there is a natural way to control algae, either that or sneak back to Lowes and secretly put algaecide in the water.

You know... I'm surprised he didn't turn around to YOU in his ususal Sukie style and give you the "I told you this would happen" quote!!!

I have to laugh, not at John but at the size of the fountain and thinking of the look on my neighbors' faces if they saw a bale of hay sticking out of it!

Can't you put a fish in it or something??? But in the summer you might get a boiled fish if it's too hot...

I told Nan to just make believe she was a little girl and had to make due finding that she had no Barbie, had to make due with two Kens.

It will be good training for her for her kids.

Besides, I have come to the conclusion that girls are groomed, nay engineered to do wedding planning, from their first Barbie and Ken, or the first time they throw a dish towel over their heads and play bride ... or is the dish towel when they pretend first communion ... or could it be pretending to be Song of Bernadette? I get confused.

That's cause your Jewish... & I had my sister's veil to wear around until it was time for me to wear it!!!

A person on tripadvisor said that they took a cab ride to downtown Cabo. That sounds pretty close to me.
