Hi Nan.....that's what I did when I lost Gandalf two years ago. Now I have Angel and she is nothing like him and it makes me miss him more sometimes because he was so good. Then most other times I don't even have time to think about him because she is keeping me busy all the time. But that painful longing for him to be here and he's not has diminished. You need to get another dog Nan. When you're ready. Gandalf is gone 2 years and Angel is 1.

thanks Deb & Marilyn. We have Jenny Rose, she is a 9 year old Border Collie, so we won't get another dog any time soon.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! It is the Kaiser Family. Very nice group of folks. They sat one table away from us at dinner.




Ann and Albert cruised with us last year and I got to know them much better this year than last. Extremely nice folks. I was supposed to meet up with them in CA, but I was too sick to leave the house.

You know that is very funny about the screen names. I actually did a test of those and after much discussion we realized that so many names were unpronouncable and that the family members other than the disser would be harder to read their names and get to know and finally we wouldn't get to know each other's first names as well. I think what I'd do different is to make the screen name as big as the real name, but in the different color. So many options.

Very good point......I vote for the same size/different color for the names.

Deb, one is BilboUK, can't remember the other. They don't chat much but Ann will probably be lurking, and may catch their photo. Funny, we didn't know them at all before the cruise, but kept bumping into them. At DL, they came up behind us when we were waiting in dark the middle of the crowd for fireworks and stayed with us. We lost them in the crowd leaving the park though.

I love our lanyards too. If we get some for our next cruise Deb, I want they same kind, though I will miss seeing all the green ones around the ship.

I hope you have a lovely 4th July weekend Deb. It is our 39th wedding anniversary on the 5th July and our grandaughter Molly is being Christened so we won't be gpoing away.

Next year however we hope to have our big trip!!! I can see us travelling all over the US trying to catch up with Angie and Dennis and trying to find them.

I've decided that trying to do yardwork with the kids around is a waste of time.

I'm trying to clean out the garage and take some stuff to the dump and others to the recycle/reuse it place but DD6 is in bed with the stomach flu and DD3 is bored because her big sister can't play with her.

So I get DD3 to help clean up the garage with me. But I have to keep an eye on her and get things that she can do to keep her occupied. All the while it's intermixed with "I'm hungry" or "I'm thirsty" or something else to take me away from working...

Football game is on in a couple of hours. So now I'm not going to get much done at all!!!
