I'm laughing so hard I'm going to fall off my chair. It took us 10 months at the 9 month point my best friend said we were doing it wrong! Will PM you tomorrow with the details of what is wrong and right at 40!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

you better copy me on that pm, because you know I HAVE to know :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: purely for research:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
:rotfl2: :lmao:
I was 40 when Gretchen was born. The doctor told me NO MORE KIDS. I will be able to take her college education out of my 401K without penalty!!
Great point!!! :rotfl:

We used the term "hot" in my day.

You're a young'un!!!:rotfl: Perhaps it was an 'American' term then. We do usually copy you all!!

I bet John thinks you're hot.::yes::

Jan :earsgirl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Not sure about that!!!

We ABSOLUTELY Loved the TransAtlantic on the Magic! I liked it even better than the PC cruise! We would do a TA again, in fact, we've been tossing around the idea of taking the Queen Mary (Cunard) across from New York to Southhampton next year, but if we do that, we will have to put off our Sept Eastern on the Magic.......oh, dear!

Nooo, I said nobody had to cancel that cruise, you can't do that!

Marilyn, I think we did, but we just didn't know it. When we were preparing for our "surprise" 40th anniversary party we were gathering up old photos and DGS 18 said "Hey, Grandma you were pretty hot back then!":faint: :rotfl: Well, blow me down, I didn't know it!!

Oh yes!!::yes::

Good afternoon Marilyn! And good morning to everybody else. :goodvibes Looks like everybody here actually went to bed last night instead of posting. :worried:

Wow, this should be interesting today: the humidity is already 94%. Supposed to be close to 90 degrees, not as hot as most of you folks, but humidity that high makes it feel much more miserable. Oh well......that's Michigan! ;)

Nan, weren't you asking Marilyn for another time waster? Well, here's a good one:

You can upload photos and send photo postcards through the regular mail for free, and they even pay the postage for you. A good way to share vacation pictures! :thumbsup2

I'm up way too early. My darned migraine drug makes me sleep really hard for a short time and then feel wide awake, and I had to take it during the night, so here I am. Oh well, I guess I'll get ready for work and go put the garbage & recycling out for trash pickup.

Have a great day everybody! :goodvibes

I don't like high humidity either. I did cope on the cruise but I prefer dry heat.

Sorry about the migraine Holly. Hope the meds have dealt with it, even if you are wide awake!

Here is my reminder for today ... vote for Shalisa (by you way, you don't have to reside in the US to vote):

Holly, have you ever lived in the west? I used to get terrible migranes in the east with the humidity, when I moved years ago back to CA I never got them again.

Nope. It's hovering at a tolerable level of throb, but as the storm front moves closer, I suspect the migraine will get worse. I'm not sure I'll make it through the day here at work, but am trying my hardest so I don't lose hours on my paycheck. :worried: We're supposed to have storms for 3 days starting tomorrow, and usually once they start, the migraine breaks. Crazy.

I lived in Wyoming for about 6 months (in Grand Teton National Park), back in 1990, but I can't remember the effect on my migraines, if any.

But Nan lives in CA and has frequent migraines too.

You know I do get sinus headaches whenever high pressure is over CA, but not the same as a migrane. What is the elevation in Wyoming, because that causes terrible migranes as well. Has your doctor checked you for sinus reactions instead of migrane? I have a specialist here in Newport Beach who says that he sees mistaken diagnoses all the time from sinus to migrane. You may have already checked that out, but that's an idea for you.

My girl Venus is playing Tennis this morning!!!!

Hey UKer's is Tim Henman a commentator there now?

And Scotland too :rotfl:

I sometime have the migraines in summer (worst) but get rare now. Had it last saturday for short times (phew). I took the tablets straight away.

She is doing well too.

I haven't watched much, just have it on for the sounds and to check up occasionally, so not sure if Tim is commentating. I have seen him interviewing and chatting onscreen though, so he might be commentating too.

I think the elevation where I was is 7000 feet, but am not 100% sure. I do know the first few days I was dizzy and throwing up and was told that's elevation sickness that happens while the body adjusts. :confused3

I've had so many doctors check me for so many things regarding the migraines, I'm not sure anymore what's been looked at. BUT.....it's OK because I'll soon be with a specialist at the migraine clinic. My first appointment there is July 8 at their neurology clinic, and they told me to expect to be there for at least 3 hours, so I'm assuming they'll be doing some in-depth checking on all sorts of stuff. :thumbsup2 :yay:

Hello everyone. It looks like I missed an uneventful night. I only missed a page or two.

Congratulations Angie and good luck getting out in 3 weeks while you are traveling. Sorry to hear about your migraines Holly. I don't get them but I hate headaches so I can't even imagine how bad migraines are.

Now we know that everyone is HOT in one way or another :lmao: Did I miss anything?
