Cool! But I'm wondering, what are those really dark verandahs directly under where the people on deck are standing? I think the area to the left of that is where the drink stations would be, and the verandahs below are rooms, but what are the dark ones with curtains pulled to the side?

Nice to be able to check the thread from home before leaving for the day.
Magic-internet-connection-box arrived yesterday and Tom got it up and running shortly after he got home.

Three clients to see and then a funeral to attend.

(She was a 38 year old mother of two who died from breast cancer. She went through all the radiation and chemo they prescribed to have the most time with her kids. Tom knows her husband, I do not know the family at all so have no idea how old the kids are. My responsibility is to make sure I have his sports coat for him, a dressy sweater, sandals and jewelry for me to dress my work outfit up for a funeral and be at his office at 5:45.)

Kiddos with special needs and funerals.......

Life is full of emotional rollercoasters. Thanks Ian for sharing your philosophy lesson of the day.

(I wonder if Hollywood and TV made the change since we now hear what I call "soap opera psychology" of "get on with your life" and "I will never let anything bad happen to you" etc. We expect 30 minute fixes since on the sit coms fix everything is fixed in 30 minutes--with time out for advertisements.)

Holly: This is the front of the ship, we are headed to the right. So this is Starboard. I think you are seeing the windows to the spa--the hair salon area or the exercise area--if I remember correctly. (Someone who actually GOES to the spa would know for sure.)

They are not verandas, there is a walkway there between the windows and the railing but it is usually shut with a gate that says Cast Members Only so there is privacy for the spa people. What looks like curtains is metal supports for deck 10.

Those are the new spa rooms.

They're the Vista Spa Villas, which overlook open water (except in port, where they overlook prying cameras).

I love it! Oh, don't worry, I had the same conversation with a couple co-workers. They knocked me back down to reality. Plenty of other opportunities to cruise in the future. Tons and tons of other chances down the road, no need to rush it for next year.
